ViewTech Borescopes Acquires New Clients Replacing Outdated Visual Inspection Scopes

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. -- Whether an inspection application requires a small diameter borescope to enter a narrow access port or one that can articulate as it navigates through lengthy piping, ViewTech Borescopes VJ-3 video borescopes are utilized and relied upon throughout every industry. North America's lineup of top-selling articulating video borescopes caught the attention of two of their newest clients, a manufacturer of oceanographic measurement equipment and a global energy supplier.

A Production Engineer for an oceanographic equipment manufacturing company sought a new visual inspection tool to assist with product design. It was essential the borescope feature brighter lighting and an improved image quality than their current borescope was equipped with. Through ViewTech Borescopes no-cost, no-obligation demo offer, their Washington based facility was able to trial a VJ-3 2.8mm x 1.0-meter video borescope.

With hands-on experience utilizing the VJ-3, the ViewTech borescope documented areas not visually accessible during previous remote visual inspections (RVI). The decision to purchase was easy to quantify by their engineering team.

Another of ViewTech's newest clients, a global energy supplier, was not able to complete necessary inspections. While many borescopes use side view attachments or interchangeable viewing angle tips, with the ViewTech Dual Camera borescope, simply pushing a button toggles between front-view and side-view cameras. After their free demo VJ-3 Dual Camera was onsite and chiller tube inspections complete, the ViewTech video borescope was purchased by their O&M Supervisor.

The VJ-3 video borescope consists of two modules integrated into one system: an insertion tube with distally mounted camera/LEDs, and the base unit with a control panel, LCD monitor, power source, and all necessary circuitry.

The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra releases ‘Bridge’ – the first of Three Unlikely Albums created during a Global Pandemic

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- A global pandemic may have cancelled all of the shows, but nothing could cancel The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra's creativity and desire to make music. With a newly unexpected empty calendar, The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra focused its attention on recording.

Jeremy Davis and Clay Johnson took their band to the NFS Ranch in Elkton, Florida, during Summer 2020 to record original songs and original arrangements of popular songs. They recorded 26 songs that are separated into three albums. The first album released this year is entitled "Bridge."

Most musicians and performers were caught off guard when their "well" went dry. Jeremy and Clay took the occasion to dig a new well. Exciting opportunities arose as the well began to take shape. From virtual shows in an empty theater to socially distanced neighborhood block parties, The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra has been able to work while many were forced to sit at home.

Perhaps the greatest opportunity to arise is the band's Hollywood debut. Four songs on the album are featured in the Universal Pictures movie Courting Mom & Dad, starring Scott Baio and Kristy Swanson, that was released in February. The film is directed by Anna Zielinski, a childhood friend of Jeremy and Clay.

QUEENS, N.Y. -- After being shut down for one-year, Main Street Cinemas, a Queens movie theater, is re-opening on Friday, March 5. Staff is excited to welcome everyone back and is looking forward to rekindling the in-person movie-goer experience.

For nearly 20 years, Main Street Cinemas, a small, family-owned business has experienced its share of ups and downs, but Rudy Toolasprashad, Main Street Cinemas' owner, admits that this past year tops the hardship list. Associated Colleges of Illinois to Host March 9 Virtual Event Focused on Solutions to Illinois’ Economic Challenges

CHICAGO, Ill. -- College presidents, corporate leaders and students will lead an Associated Colleges of Illinois' (https://acifund.org) virtual event March 9, at 11 a.m., focused on how educators and the business community are working together to offer solutions to economic challenges faced by Illinois' companies, schools and students.
