Global DMS Integrates EVO Appraisal Management Software with ProxyPics, Enabling Remote Real Estate Inspections

LANSDALE, Pa. -- Global DMS, a leading provider of cloud-based appraisal management software, announced that it has integrated its new EVO platform, an innovative valuation technology that shatters the constraints of yesteryear software designs, with ProxyPics to provide its clients with a secure method of facilitating the delivery of photographs of a subject property when access to the property is unavailable.

EVO(tm) ProxyPics allows lenders, AMCs, and appraisers to seamlessly request and receive high quality photos of both the interior and exterior of the subject property directly from the home occupant, who utilize ProxyPics' patented mobile app to easily take the required photos, answer pre-set questions about the quality, condition, and unique characteristics of their home, and submit the information back to EVO for immediate use.

The entire process is automated, secure, protects against fraud, and requires no additional work or oversight from those using EVO - who never have to leave the platform.

"In addition to providing outstanding appraisal management technologies, the safety of our clients is of top concern," said Global DMS(R) COO, Jody Collup. "This integration not only provides timely, cost-effective, and accurate values for all loan types, it allows those using EVO to efficiently complete their valuations without ever leaving their desk."

With EVO ProxyPics, lenders, AMCs, and appraisers can remain socially distant while still receiving the vital information they need for completing accurate valuations that are in full compliance with the temporary appraisal guidelines that were enacted by federal regulators in response to COVID-19.

"At ProxyPics, we agree that customer safety is a top priority," said Luke Tomaszewski, CEO of ProxyPics. "Integrating our innovative solution with a state-of-the-art appraisal management platform like EVO provides financial entities with the necessary tools for conducting remote inspections that still meet the demands of the highly regulated mortgage industry."

Though developed for today's unique mortgage environment, EVO ProxyPics will continue to serve its users well into the future by providing a simple and completely digital method for securing the primary photos of a subject property as quickly as possible - helping to streamline their appraisal process and decrease turn-times.

"It's like Google Docs for appraisals," Marty Haldane, Anow, CEO says.

* A mobile inspection application with built-in sketching tools, so users can easily draw floor plans and instantly calculate square footage from anywhere.

Business Association of Real Estate Appraisers (BAREA) partners with Anow to empower appraisal firms in Canada with transformative tech

RED DEER, Alberta -- Anow, the appraisal firm management software developer that simplifies the way real estate appraisers manage their businesses, today announced a partnership that makes its powerful appraisal technology platform available to members of the Business Association of Real Estate Appraisers (BAREA).

"BAREA empowers appraisal companies by giving them access to beneficial professional partnerships and better business tools," said BAREA spokesperson Natalie McDonagh. "Equipping BAREA members with access to Anow's digital appraisal management platform will strengthen their competitiveness by reducing the time and cost of producing an appraisal while facilitating the delivery of top-tier service to customers and mortgage lenders."

According to McDonagh, as more appraisals are administered by appraisal management companies (AMCs), the profit margins of appraisal firms are being compressed to critical levels. However, Anow's technology holds the potential to help reverse that trend by giving independent appraisal firms access to process efficiency tools that will enable them to take on more business while reducing their workload.

"Immediate business efficiencies are possible with BAREA members using the same collaborative software platform," said McDonagh. "The ability to share best practices and benchmarking data gives our members a tremendous advantage. There's never been an appraisal partnership like this."

"Anow is the first company to deliver an enterprise software platform that gives appraisers a single point of access to manage orders and fees from various sources and collaborate with appraisal teams, AMCs and lenders," said Anow President and Founder Marty Haldane. "We are excited to provide BAREA's member network with an indispensable, modern appraisal tool that's accessible from any web-enabled device with almost no setup required."

Anow Closes 2018 with 110-percent Year-over-Year Increase in Orders Processed Through Its Digital Appraisal Office Management Technology

RED DEER, Alberta -- Digital appraisal management software developer Anow reported a record 110 percent year-over-year increase in appraisal orders processed through its core appraisal office management platform in 2018 despite an industry-wide, market-driven drop in orders per customer. The announcement follows a year punctuated by major product launches and enhancements as the growing firm continues to lead the appraisal industry in innovation.

"We're proud to put appraisal firms that use Anow light years ahead of their competition," said Anow Founder and President Marty Haldane. "In 2019, we'll continue to redefine the speed, efficiency and transparency with which appraisers work with mortgage lenders and other clients."

Just last month, Nations Valuations Services integrated Anow's appraisal management software into its AppraisalTRAX(TM) management system, fueling faster turn times for its 16,000-strong appraiser network and an improved experience for its mortgage lender customers.

In September, Anow filed patents to protect its proprietary mass collaboration technology, which enables teams of appraisers to radically reduce turn times by working simultaneously on appraisal reports and which Anow expects will power the next generation of bifurcated appraisal products.

Anow also filed patents on its proximity-based assignment system designed to improve the borrower experience and reduce friction in the inspection-setting process.

In August, the company announced its forthcoming Anow Enterprise, a platform for mortgage lenders that enables instant, on-demand appraisal booking and leverages artificial intelligence to pair lender deadlines and quality-control criteria with the best appraiser for the job based on availability, travel schedule and workload.

May 2018 saw the introduction of Anow Connect, a platform that connects appraisal firms directly with their customers via a branded, mobile-first portal that automates appraisal order acceptance, scheduling, status updates, file sharing, messaging, report delivery and payment collection.

Anow also rolled out over 4,100 feature enhancements designed to simplify the lives of appraisers and help make their businesses more efficient. These included significant enhancements to Anow's mobile appraisal and home inspection platforms; simplification of Anow's payment collections, payment processing and payroll systems; significant improvements to the APIs that facilitate integrations with Anow's partners; enhanced reporting; and architectural changes to accommodate the platform's growing volume of appraisers and orders.

Anow also added new capabilities that enable multiple appraisal companies to more seamlessly work together and gave users the ability to import work history into Anow.

Anow is currently accepting participants for a closed beta of its next appraisal software innovation, Anow NEXUS, which is being developed with input from the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), the National Association of Appraisers (NAA) and the Business Association of Real Estate Appraisers (BAREA). Nations Valuation Services Integrates Anow Appraisal Management Software to Accelerate Turn Times and Elevate Customer Experience for Mortgage Lenders

RED DEER, Alberta -- Nations Valuation Services (NVS), the appraisal services division of the Nations Companies, today announced the integration of appraisal management software from Anow with NVS' proprietary management system, AppraisalTRAX(TM).

According to NVS Executive Vice President of Operations Matthew Scott, all appraisals submitted by the AMC's more than 16,000 appraisers nationwide will run through Anow, allowing the entire NVS appraisal network to tap into the platform's powerful time-saving and collaboration features.

"NVS built its business as a leading national AMC by leveraging best-of-breed appraisal technology - an approach that has served us and our partners well," said Scott. "We spent a long time searching for a way to achieve a stronger level of communication with our appraisers across the country. Anow's consolidated platform really impressed us, because it allows appraisers to work with multiple clients through a single portal. That's incredibly valuable."

Appraisers face increasing pressure from lenders and AMCs to upgrade from a patchwork of legacy desktop applications to systems capable of delivering real-time communication, mass collaboration and a modern borrower experience. Mortgage lenders have already begun adopting digital processes from origination to closing in pursuit of efficiencies and loan quality improvements.

Anow enterprise software features the industry's first unified appraisal tracking platform from which appraisal businesses can efficiently manage orders, clients and fees. Built to drive dynamic appraisal businesses of every size and stripe, Anow allows fully customized workflows, automated status updates, end-to-end activity tracking, unlimited scalability and rapid setup. Anow's proprietary calendaring system enables smart, rapid response to mortgage lenders' "turn-on-a-dime" demands, matching the right appraiser with the right property to ensure that tight underwriting requirements and closing deadlines are met.

"Anow has been thoughtfully architected to enable firms like NVS to better communicate with appraisers and, in turn, offer vastly superior service to lenders," said Anow Founder and President Marty Haldane. "Appraisers that build their businesses around the mortgage industry's demands and cycles must work hand in glove with lenders' priorities, which typically are speed of job completion, quality of work and borrower satisfaction."

"Mortgage lenders are moving quickly to drive down overall turn times so they can lock and fund loans, and the appraiser is a key piece of that," said Scott at NVS. "Appraisers who adopt technology to make themselves more organized and efficient are going to be able to take on and manage more business, and they'll do so in a much less stressed environment."

"That's why we expect appraisers are going to love the Anow platform once they experience it. And based on the feedback of those on our panel already using it, it's the organization of their calendars and the ability to communicate in real time from a single place that has really sold them on how great this product is," Scott added.

For more information about Anow's appraisal management software, contact Keith@Anow.com or call 800-403-7121.
