Asia America Symphony Association Announces Name Change from Asia America Youth Symphony to ‘Pacific Vision Youth Symphony’

ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. — The Asia America Symphony Association announces a new name for their multi-talented youth orchestra to the Pacific Vision Youth Symphony (PVYS). The name change reflects the organization’s grass roots (originally founded as the Japan America Symphony Orchestra) and ever-growing diversity among its members.

TORRANCE, Calif. — Grammy-nominated DAVID BENOIT will lead the prestigious ASIA AMERICA YOUTH SYMPHONY through a varied program featuring the music from the films “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Whiplash,” and works by Tchaikovsky, Bizet and original works by Benoit himself, Asia America Symphony Association announced today.
