Gordon Brush Recognized as a ‘Featured Business’ in the City of Industry

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. -- Gordon Brush(R) was recognized as a "Featured Business" by Industry Business Council. The Council shone its "Business Spotlight" on Gordon Brush(R) for its commitment to keeping its manufacturing in the City of Industry.

Congresswoman Grace Napolitano Honors Gordon Brush Mfg. Co.

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. -- Congresswoman Grace Napolitano (CA-32) presented a Certificate of Congressional Recognition to Gordon Brush President and CEO, Ken Rakusin at a ceremony at the Company's 183,000 square foot manufacturing complex on Thursday, August 30, 2018.

"I am honored and humbled to accept this award from Congresswoman Napolitano," said Rakusin. "We truly appreciate that the Congresswoman shares our commitment to manufacturing in the United States and our commitment to remain in the greater Los Angeles area. Gordon Brush is Proud To Be An American Manufacturer and has been steadfast in its commitment to manufacturing in the United States even under competitive threats.

"All of this could not have been possible without my valued, long-tenured, skilled employees. I have over 150 employees, plus their families, for who I am responsible," adds Rakusin.

"Congratulations to Gordon Brush for receiving Congressional Recognition for his leadership at Gordon Brush, a proud American business," Napolitano said. Mr. Rakusin presented the Congresswoman with a book, "MADE in USA," an elegant tribute to 12 companies that are proud to build and buy AMERICAN. "The Congresswoman and Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer are forever immortalized in the history of the Company with a picture in the Gordon Brush chapter," Rakusin told the Congresswoman.
