Netcube Achieves World’s First Multi-Slice Application Service Architecture Proven on Commercial Grade 5G System

SEOUL, Korea -- Netcube, Inc., a Korea-based leading telecom software company just announced that the company has achieved a significant milestone towards a 5G-led business for a 5G ecosystem. It's successfully proved its network slicing application enabler platform on a commercial-grade 5G system.

The achievement was part of the "5G Convergence Service Field Test Project" funded by the Ministry of Science and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of Korea. And, the implementation was officially proven by the Telecommunication Technology Association (TTA) at the "National 5G Convergence Testbed" facility operated by National Information Society Agency (NIA) of Korea. The facility is equipped with carrier-grade Samsung 5G SA access and core system.

Dong-ho Yu, CEO of Netcube, said, "Network slicing technology is a fundamental feature for a 5G ecosystem, but it seems to have remained a rather conceptual ideal for a long time."

Yu attributes this to a lack of service attaching technology with vertical industries and their applications.

"The goal of this development was to suggest a network slicing-based business model for 5G converged ecosystem participants and to offer practical level enabling solutions for CSPs, vertical industries and users," he says.

Sung-Uk Rha, director of Future Network Center at NIA, said that, "Korea was the first country to commercialize 5G networks successfully, and this world-first demonstration of Netcube's original network slicing technology shows an example of the country's continued innovation."

In addition to this milestone, in 2021, Netcube achieved another notable accomplishment during its participation in the "5G Government Network Pilot Project" which was to develop and prove the industry's first 3GPP compliant "Secondary Authentication" system. This helps governments and enterprises to identify and authorize 5G-based private network access from commercial 5G networks.

Four Thousand Recovered Members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus Donate Plasma for the Third Time to Combat COVID-19

DAEGU, South Korea -- 4,000 members from Shincheonji Church of Jesus are planned to participate in the group's third plasma donation drive, starting from November 16, 2020.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus (SCJ), is an organization established in South Korea with branches across the globe. After multiple members within the church unexpectedly contracted the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in February, 4,000 recovered congregation members vowed to donate their convalescent plasma to help with treatment efforts. Over 300 SCJ members within the church have donated more than once.

"It's the most valuable thing we can do [as people who have recovered from COVID]," one plasma donor of SCJ church stated. "Through our experience of participating in plasma donation, all of the members of our congregation have realized that the power to overcome COVID-19 is tolerance, love, and unity."

Within July and September, 1,700 people of the congregation participated in two waves of plasma donation drives with the support of the city of Daegu and Korean Red Cross. This upcoming event will mark the beginning of the third donation drive.

As COVID-19 cases rise, convalescent plasma from recovered individuals becomes exceedingly vital to combat the pandemic. The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) has publicly requested for more recovered people to donate their plasma as SCJ has done.

"It is necessary to quickly develop plasma treatment through group plasma donation in the current absence of an effective treatment in the midst of the continuous occurrence of COVID-19 at home and abroad," they stated last month.

On November 3rd, The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters (CDSCH) held a regular briefing on COVID-19 as the country works to respond against new waves of infection.

"For the purpose of developing plasma treatment, about 4,000 Shincheonji members plan to participate in plasma donation for three weeks, starting on the 16th," CDSCH Deputy Director Kwon Joon-wook explained. "We are grateful for the active participation of Shincheonji, and for the cooperation of the City of Daegu and the Korean Red Cross."

While the recovered church members donate plasma, the other thousands of members worldwide have come together in online prayer gatherings. As they follow COVID-19 social distancing regulations, the church continues to pray diligently for the cessation of the pandemic and the health and safety of medical workers.

Despite the gradual ease of church gathering restrictions in South Korea, SCJ plans to continue with online services to prevent the spread while the viral situation remains unstable. Nevertheless, Shincheonji Church of Jesus remains committed to offering support for the worldwide community - one plasma donation at a time.

Shincheonji church of Jesus Graduates 100,000 Students Worldwide

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- On November 10, 2019, Shincheonji church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony held one of the world's largest graduation with the count of 103,764 graduates. In addition to the 100,000 graduates in South Korea, it was also held simultaneously around the world from school locations in Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and the United States including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, Chicago, New York, as well as in South and Central America.

The graduation was broadcast live within major cities in Korea and Internationally for the graduates overseas to participate.

This graduation is the largest graduation from a single denomination worldwide. Adding the combined total number of graduates together would equal to 100 churches of 1,000 congregation members, which is greatly different from the drastic fall of the number of congregation members seen globally in the world of religion and it marks a historical triumph for theological studies especially when seminary education enrollment has declined for the past decade according to a study conducted by the Association of Theology Schools.

Shincheonji is the only place in the world where 100,000 students graduated after completing an in-depth theology program which is open to students wishing to study the Bible and the prophecies from the book of Revelation. Free of coast consisting of beginners, intermediate, and advance content for 6months to a year and graduating after passing the final exams.

Of course it is incredible enough to see 100,000 students graduating from a single denomination; however, what is more shocking is that Shincheonji - which is teaching the fulfillment of Revelation and has been growing at an incredibly rapid pace since 1984 is labeled as a "cult" by the Christian world of the Republic of Korea especially through the CCK (Christian Council of Korea). Despite criticism Shincheonji has received, such as major allegations that "Shincheonji claiming the founder of Shincheonji being Jesus," and "students are coerced to learn and brainwashes the people with their teaching." The graduates reported that those are all false accusations and the reality they've witnessed is completely different.

"For the past 8 months within my Bible study, I was checking to see if any of the criticisms against Shincheonji were true, from making people quit jobs, divorce, and leave their homes, to forcing us in believing the founder of Shincheonji, Mr. Mann Hee Lee as Jesus, I realized that those were false rumors and far from the truth. Anyone can study the Bible according to their free-will and if you do not want to study the Bible you can stop studying at any time. I am thankful that I had a chance to study the Bible for the past 8 months and to see for myself that Shincheonji's teaching of the Bible is biblical and logical," said Graduate Lynn Maldonado.

The growth of Shincheonji is expected to grow exponentially after the graduation. With the evangelism rate of the graduates being over 100%, currently there are 200,000 plus students that are enrolled in the theology program. If Shincheonji continues to grow at this pace, then within 3 years it will reach a million congregation members, and the status quo of the religious world will change.

"All this is not of man's power but of God's power.
All this is the work of God's miracles."
