JULIAN MICHAEL is a black, gay comedian with an attitude problem. A minority among minorities. Believing that his life calling is to make people laugh until they think, Julian uses his platform to subvert stereotypes, inspire others, and to give his audience a break from the status quo.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Uproar Entertainment is excited to announce the release of "Consequences & Repercussions" by Jamal Doman, recorded live at The Comedy Underground in Seattle, Wash.

"Consequences & Repercussions" immediately exhibits why Jamal Doman is called "a comedian's comedian" by his peers. He refers to his unique style of comedy as "sophisticated ghetto." Jamal says, "My comedy is much like my personality, I'm from the hood, but I have some sophistication to me."

A Philadelphia native, he was born into a family where comedy reigned supreme. His parents, who Jamal credits for their unconditional support of his comedic endeavors, were huge fans of Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, and Robert Klein. After his first encounter with Murphy's "Raw," Jamal was compelled to give his own stand-up chops a try, entered a talent show, and has been moving full speed ahead ever since.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Uproar Entertainment is excited to announce the release of "I'm A Hooker" by Kristin Key. Armed with her quick wit and her trusty guitar, the Texas native slings her signature goofy songs and hilarious jokes on her fourth collaboration with Uproar Entertainment.

Kristin Key grew up a minister's daughter in a small town in West Texas. Raised in a no-drinking, no-dancing, no instrumental music environment, she immediately took up drinking, dancing and playing an instrument. Proving that the almighty has a strange sense of humor, Kristin came out of the closet at 15. Needless to say, it did not go well. So, Kristin decided to "take it back" - into the closet, trying just a little harder to be straight.

At 19, while in college to become a paramedic, Key signed up for Open Mic Night at the local comedy club. As soon as she took the stage she felt at home. Over the next 5 years small shows in the Texas panhandle turned into 35 states worth of comedy. When Last Comic Standing held their auditions in Austin, Texas, she stood in line hoping for a chance to be seen. After 7 hours of waiting, she got her chance and her ticket to Hollywood to compete with the best in the comedy world. At the end of the season she stood among the final six and watched as her fan base exploded. With validation from millions of comedy fans, Key moved to L.A. and began preparing a new act to take on the road.

He has a natural instinct that allows him to take random ideas and mirror his thoughts into relatable comedy bits for discerning audiences. Having worked with national acts such as Hannibal Buress, Ralphie May, Gabriel Iglesias, Pauly Shore and Carlos Mencia (just to name just a few), Alex has proven that he brings his A-game to every stage he sets foot on. His greatest inspiration in comedy is Brian Regan, who makes "thousands of people laugh just by talking about eating a sleeve of Fig Newtons."

Alex Elkin began his professional comedy career in the clubs of Hollywood California in '94 before he was old enough to be allowed in the front door. However his comedy journey started long before then. For as long as he can remember, he knew he wanted to make people laugh. At the tender age of 8, Alex used his natural gift for comedy to detach himself from the daily realities of his home life where his father was battling a serious disease. At school he used comedy to beat the bullies to the punchline, curry favor and avoid being hurt.

He listened repeatedly to his father's records of The Smothers Brothers, Steve Martin, Richard Pryor, and George Carlin. Before he really understood what it meant to be a "Comedian" he knew he wanted to be one. By the time he was 18, he was cracking jokes both on and off the boat while working as a skipper on the Jungle Cruise at the Disneyland Resort.

Alex Elkin has headlined "The Dirty@12:30," the #1 comedy show in Las Vegas; Harvey's in Portland; Reno/Tahoe Comedy Club; Improvs and more. In 2014 and 2015 he produced two cross-country tours. Better known as "Beans" on The Brickwall Comedy Show (#1 Afternoon Radio Show in Eugene Oregon) Alex Elkin is one of the three voices that act as potent laughing gas on radio station KLZS AM - All Comedy 1450, of which he is also owner. One of his partners, Chris Warren, notes that Elkin shines because of "his ability to adapt to an audience. He can read the audience and that's something that most comedians don't have the ability to do."

He worked as a writer/actor/director/producer on the TV show "Faces" on KLSR FOX-TV. Alex has been on "Last Comic Standing," E!'s "The Simple Life" (Season 5), TNT's "LEVERAGE" (Season 4 & 5), and on NBC's "GRIMM." Most recently he was the winner of the 2016 San Francisco Comedy Festival.

‘Chillennial’ by Feraz Ozel Debuts at No. 9 on Billboard Comedy Chart

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Uproar Entertainment is proud to announce that "Chillennial" by Feraz Ozel has debuted at #9 on The Billboard Comedy Chart in its first week of release. The Billboard Comedy Chart lists the week's top selling comedy albums ranked by sales data as compiled by Nielsen Music.

Upon learning that that his first recorded Comedy CD exploded on the scene, Feraz responded: "As a child who watched too much VH 1, I learned two things every artist should strive for - one, charting on Billboard's top 10 and two, avoiding heroin. So far, so good!"

David Drozen, President of Uproar Entertainment and producer of the CD states: "I knew Feraz was special the very first time I saw him perform at The World Series of Comedy in 2013. Uproar Entertainment releases new stand-up comedy CD ‘Chillennial’ by Feraz Ozel, uniquely Hilarious, Passionate and Brilliant

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Feraz Ozel, a "brown" comedian, is a light-hearted performer driven by passion, and intelligence, says Uproar Entertainment. His is a diverse and energetic brand of insightful comedy that connects with people from all walks of life. He prides himself on putting on a show that will make you laugh till it hurts, think about a few new things, and remember that regardless of our vast differences, we can all come together for a night of comedy.

Feraz Ozel's road to comedy was far from ordinary. When you are born and raised in California, but with an Afghani-Pakistani background, the stage is set for an unusual life. He started doing stand-up at age 20 while in his second year at the University of CA, San Diego (where he graduated magna cum laude). At the time, he was focused on law school and a life in politics. But somewhere between interning for Arnold Schwarzenegger in D.C., international law courses in Budapest, and backpacking through Europe, Feraz realized that stand-up comedy was in fact his true calling. He wanted to make people laugh and enjoy life, and also open people's minds to new ideas and perspectives.

At age 21 Feraz turned down several law school offers, and acceptance into the CIA (yes, THAT CIA), and geared himself towards becoming the best comic he could be. During the day, he was a passionate fitness trainer, but every night he eagerly looked for a mic, like a crackhead searching for his next fix. At the same time, Feraz understood the value of enriching one's life. After all, how could he expect to connect with people and challenge ideas, if he didn't seek opportunities to expand his perspectives and life experience? So, he made it a point to travel as much as possible, often setting up international comedy tours along the way. Since then, Feraz has traveled through 4 continents, sharing laughs, ideas and friendships with people in 24 countries.

Feraz quickly rose to the highest ranks in the San Diego comedy scene and in 2012 he moved to Los Angeles. Since that time he's become a regular at nearly every major club in Los Angeles, including the Comedy Store and The Hollywood Improv. He's been seen on national television on "2 Broke Girls," "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen," and "The Doctors" on CBS, as well as featured in Hulu's "Coming to the Stage," The Atlantic Magazine and the LA Times. In 2014 he was chosen to be a part of NBC's prestigious Stand up for Diversity showcase in San Francisco. In January 2016, he was selected out of 2,000 applicants to be one of twenty performers in, as well as a writer for, CBS's "Diversity Showcase," in which CBS promotes comedians they believe to be the stars of tomorrow. Feraz won the Funzine Comedy Competition in Budapest, Hungary, and the San Diego's Funniest Person competition. Feraz is a part of Ahmed Ahmed's Next Generation of Evil comedy tour, the sequel to the Axis of Evil which aired on Comedy Central and Showtime.
