Utelogy Corporation Continues to Disrupt Enterprise Workspace Management with Announcement of 3.0 Release

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Utelogy Corporation, a visionary provider of control, monitoring and analytics software for workspace management, announced its 3.0 software release, which continues to expand on the enterprise features necessary to support a globally distributed organization.

To meet the needs of an increasing number of customers with high security and mission critical environments, Utelogy 3.0 will support a growing number of enterprise features such as High Availability (HA) and an On-Premise Version of U-Manage.

Utelogy's HA implementation employs high-performance clustering which has one or more U-Servers working together to provide failover. While the exact deployment depends on each customer's environment and its IT policies, a typical deployment will have a U-Server hosted on its own hardware or within a VM environment that isolates other U-Servers from a hardware or network failure.

For organizations where the cloud architecture doesn't fit within their IT strategy, these companies would still greatly benefit from the centralized monitoring and management that Utelogy offers. To meet these requirements, Utelogy will deploy a 100% on-premise solution that includes U-Manage and U-Enterprise, called Utelogy Private Portal. With the on-premise solution, companies will have access to U-Manage which includes the HTML interface and database as well as U-Enterprise which includes the U-Server, U-Control, and U-Console.

"Ensuring collaboration spaces scale to satisfy mission critical tasks and remain optimized is a daunting task in today's enterprise environment. IT departments look for robustness, performance, and scalability to ensure these management platforms enhance productivity with a lower total cost of ownership," explained Kevin Morrison, Utelogy's CEO. "With its REST API and data connectors, delivered last year, the Utelogy platform allows organizations to gather actionable intelligence across the enterprise," added Morrison.

Utelogy will be exhibiting at Integrated Systems Europe 2020 (ISE 2020) February 11 to 14, 2020 at the RAI in Amsterdam, in Hall 14 Stand M-170 and interested parties can schedule a demonstration here: https://www.utelogy.com/utelogy-demo-ise-2020/.

Utelogy Launches U-Automate – Workspace Automation for Unparalleled Productivity Enhancements and Scalability

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Utelogy Corporation, a visionary provider of control, monitoring and analytics software for workspace management, today announced its automation tool, U-Automate. This module delivers the Room Readiness feature, which enables IT teams to remotely validate the readiness of all connected devices, sensors, etc., in its workspaces. These powerful features will be available for demonstration at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE 2020) February 11 to 14.

Ensuring collaboration spaces remain optimized and running at scale to deliver a positive user experience in today's enterprise environment is a daunting task.

Utelogy's management portal, U-Manage, released last year, already allows operations teams to drill down to see device metrics, documents, and events for all of its connected devices under a single pane of glass. U-Automate, is a productivity tool designed to eliminate the costly, time-consuming, and resource-intensive manual processes enterprises employ today to confirm each conference room and the devices in those rooms are online and functioning properly.

U-Automate delivers the following features to improve efficiency for the IT organization:
* Build scripts by configuring blocks with the ability to enter custom parameters
* Test devices, video and audio calls, state checks, custom macros and more
* Schedule scripts to execute and repeat at any date, time and location
* Review test logs to pro-actively address errors and warnings

"We know that companies spend millions of dollars every year on manual room checks. With U-Automate, operations teams can leverage the technology to reduce labor costs by as much as 75%," said Kevin Morrison, CEO of Utelogy. "Automating the repetitive tasks allows companies to reassign those resources to more strategic, core business activities," added Morrison.

Automation not only delivers productivity gains for the operations team, but also for employees using the meeting room technology. When workplace technology functions the way it's supposed to, it allows employees to focus on the productive, valuable human work, allowing companies to attract and retain the best employees.

Utelogy's U-Automate lays the groundwork for future development efforts targeted to take advantage of machine learning to deliver Artificial Intelligence (AI) that can drive automation features that would include self-healing scenarios.

"Let's assume the AI engine has determined there's a 75 per cent chance a projector issue can be resolved with a reboot. The system could assess whether there are people currently in the room or scheduled to come into the room. If the next meeting is in 10 minutes, and the system knows the projector has a three-minute reboot, it could automatically reboot the projector without any human interaction. We believe self-healing is a key benefit of AI, and we expect that to provide immense business value in the future," Morrison explained.

Room Readiness, powered by U-Automate, will be available for demonstration at Integrated Systems Europe 2020 (ISE 2020) February 11 to 14, 2020 at the RAI in Amsterdam. Utelogy will be in Hall 14 Stand M-170 and interested parties can schedule a demonstration here https://www.utelogy.com/utelogy-demo-ise-2020/.

Utelogy Launches New Generation Management Portal to Monitor Your Entire AV Infrastructure

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Utelogy, maker of enterprise software platform for control and intelligent connected workspaces, launches an all-new U-Manage - the platform's management, monitoring and analytics portal - today at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2019 in Amsterdam.

U-Manage provides enterprise-wide visibility to rooms, equipment, issues, performance, and usage. It tracks all connected devices and delivers insights on those devices and the system as a whole, to enable more informed support and investment decisions to optimize the performance of rooms, real estate, and equipment.

The Utelogy platform is vendor-agnostic to deliver the operational agility necessary for today's enterprise. U-Manage allows organizations to centrally manage its entire AV infrastructure for better efficiency, cost savings and improved up-time.

As a core part of Utelogy's centralized approach to deploying and managing AV systems, the new features of U-Manage include:

* Re-designed user-interface and navigation

* Managed Service Provider portfolio overviews and individual customer views

* Customized dashboards to display system information in a visual manner

* Data-filtering by location, date, time and device

* Extensive report library including asset reports, firmware, warranty, utilization and more

* Configurable alerts and notifications

* Rest APIs and data connectors to expedite third party development including BI platforms.

"A key frustration for organizations has been the lack of data on workspaces and the devices within those spaces. The previous version of U-Manage did a great job alerting when a device in a room was off-line, but these latest enhancements to the portal provide the extraction of actionable data," explained COO William Tinnel.

"Now organizations will have the ability to view alerts and usage reports for rooms and all technology, including other control systems, as well as asset details like firmware versions and warranty reports. Most of the monitoring and management platforms on the market can only manage their own equipment. This new functionality provides incredible value for end-users and it opens up new opportunities for integrators and other service providers to offer managed services because you can now monitor legacy control systems," added Tinnel.

Utelogy, named to 2018 INC 5000, won a Commercial Integrator 2018 Top New Technology Award at ISE 2018 for its control platform. You can visit Utelogy at ISE 2019 in stand 14-M170 to see a demonstration of U-Manage.
