OMAHA, NE /Send2Press Newswire/ -- The Enigma Radio Network recently added a podcasting division to their popular programming lineup of Internet radio shows. This addition helped the network reach over 100,000 MP3 downloads per day on February 21, 2005.

The Enigma Radio Network began broadcasting in August of 2004, with a weekly update from international best-selling author, Kathleen Keating. This update proved to be immensely popular. Kathleen is a frequent guest and commentator on radio programs and has hosted several radio shows in the past.

The constant demand for her radio appearances sparked the network to add The Enigma Files, a weekly, hour-long show featuring Kathleen and a variety of different guests. This show began broadcasting in December 2004 and became instantly popular with Kathleen's global fanbase.

In February 2005, the network started podcasting their MP3 format shows. The addition of the shows to many popular podcasting directories brought in even more listeners.

The Daily Dig is the latest show produced by the Enigma Radio Network. The Dig is a daily news program featuring headlines from all over the world and commentary. This new show received over 6,000 listens in its first week.

The Daily Dig will be introducing a new host, Jon Dougherty later this week. Dougherty brings a unique perspective from his many years as a respected print and radio journalist.

The network will continue to add new and innovative programming in the near future in response to its listener's demands.

The Enigma Radio Network is pleased to be involved in podcasting. Kathleen Keating stated that, "No one should be force-fed programming. People have the right to listen to what they want - when they want it."

The Enigma Radio Network is dedicated to this philosophy and looks forward to the growth of the network as it heads towards 200,000 listeners a day.
