The Chaparral Group, a developer of distinctive residencies, in conjunction with TexSigns, Inc. (TSI), a significant non-profit organization, have co-joined in combining the state of the art devices to aid communicative accessibility. This includes a service staff to directly serve the prospective Deaf and Hearing Impaired residents.

TSI was founded in 1999, to begin laying the groundwork for developing projects for the specific population of which its mission serves. There are 60,000 Deaf and Hearing Impaired senior age individuals in the Houston area alone. TSI seeks to create integrative approaches for the residents of its project that are designed to be without peer and allows the maximizing of independence and dignity.
