INGLEWOOD, Calif. – May 11 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — As part of Better Hearing and Speech Month in May, the VOICES Association (www.4voices.org) is highlighting its Media Outreach Program with the launch of “1 2 3 Talk!” – the cable access show devoted to speech, language and communication development and disorders.

The “1 2 3 Talk!” cable show will explore topics surrounding communication disorders and development. Vice President and co-founder, Byron Jackson is one of the show’s producers, “If it’s related to speech, language or hearing, we’re going to cover it! We’re extremely excited to be able to raise awareness and help children and families through television and internet radio!”

“1 2 3 Talk!” will broadcast on Comcast cable access stations across southern California and reach an estimated 240,000 viewers each month. The show will also be sent out nationally to thousands of families and professionals in DVD format. The show is currently in production at Comcast Studios in Marina del Rey, California. President and co-founder, Tamara Hill will host the show and interview special guests on a variety of issues affecting families with communication impaired children.

In addition to the cable show, VOICES will debut its online radio station, “1 2 3 Talk! Radio”, on the Live365.com network. The station will feature a weekly speech and language talk show where internet listeners will be able to tune in and listen to the broadcast absolutely free. Children and their families will also be able to enjoy the best in children’s music on the days between live show broadcasts. “We want this broadcast to be helpful and fun for kids and adults alike,” says Jackson.
