BOSTON, Mass. – June 24 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Arclinea Boston (www.arclineaboston.com), the first flagship showroom in the United States for kitchens designed and coordinated by the acclaimed Italian architect Antonio Citterio, will provide custom designer kitchens for three upcoming condominium developments throughout Boston, including Yoo D4 by Starck in the South End, 360 Newbury in the Back Bay, and First+First in South Boston.

Arclinea Boston’s team of professional architects, led by senior project manager Mercedes Farrando, are working closely with developers to realize the unique design requirements for each of the three projects. The 26 units at Yoo D4 by Starck, site of a former police station at 7 Warren Avenue in the South End, are designed by Philippe Starck. The units are scheduled for completion in 2006.

Meichi Peng, senior designer/manager with ADD Inc, the company that provided architectural and interior design services for the 360 Newbury development, agrees. “After reviewing a number of alternatives, ADD Inc recommended Arclinea’s high quality product designed by Antonio Citterio because its clean, contemporary lines achieved the look we wanted for the space. The ease of working with Arclinea’s talented senior project manager, Mercedes Farrando, was another selling point for us. The exterior of the 360 Newbury building, which currently houses the Virgin Megastore, was famously redesigned by architect Frank Gehry in 1989. Units are scheduled for completion in 2006.
The First+First townhouse residences in South Boston — also featuring Arclinea kitchens — are set for completion in summer 2006.
