Customers will have a chance to watch the artist’s work in progress and purchase finished product directly from the surrounding showroom where his signature pieces, evoking the richness and opulence of Byzantine cultures and Medieval worlds, are on display. Daniel Gibbings Jewellery – which with its spelling gives a nod to his English background and training – is scheduled to open October 17th on Montecito’s Coast Village Road among the town’s many unique, upscale shops and services.
Most recently receiving a 2005 Reader’s Choice Award from Colored Stone Magazine, Gibbings’s work has also been voted to the top of Santa Barbara’s major “Best Of” lists and featured in publications including Montecito Magazine, Santa Barbara Magazine, Santa Barbara Food & Home, The News-Press and The Independent.
