“Because of the enormous size of this storm, hundreds of thousands of South Floridians were impacted by Wilma – people all the way up in Palm Beach and right down through Miami. For Broward County especially, this was worse than Hurricane Andrew,” Zebersky said. “Unfortunately, some insurance companies are looking to take advantage of the situation.”
