NORTH CHELMSFORD, MA (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Belanger and Foley, Inc., a full service architectural, planning and design firm, announced today that the construction of the new Longmeadow Golf Club in Tewksbury MA, is on schedule and on budget. The project represents the second major project designed by Belanger & Foley in the last twelve months. The first project, the design and planning of the Bishop McNamara Center at Lowell Catholic High School, was initiated in March, 2005, and is ahead of schedule.

The Longmeadow Golf Club project officially broke ground in November of 2005 and it is expected to be completed by July of 2006. The new clubhouse will be a two-story structure of approximately 13,000 sq. ft. Designed as a backdrop to the 9th hole of the golf course, the clubhouse will have locker rooms, offices, lounges and spas on the first floor, and a members lounge and hall that will accommodate 150 people on the second floor.

The Bishop McNamara Center, the cornerstone of the Lowell Catholic High School project, consists of both academic and athletic facilities to include: the Keith Gymnasium, science lab, lecture hall, technology center and classroom space. Construction work is currently in full swing with an anticipated completion target of spring 2006.
