A R T I C L E:

Peter Grandich, founder of Trinity Financial Sports & Entertainment Management Company, Atlantic Avenue, announced that Super Bowl XLII hero and former New York Giant David Tyree has joined the company’s advisory board.

“I had the honor and privilege of knowing David before ‘the catch.’ Unlike others, the fame given due to his remarkable clutch-play has not changed the humble and God-fearing man I knew beforehand,” says Grandich. “God has big plans for David, and this Christian soldier has continued to give all the glory and praise to our Lord and Savior.”

Grandich explains that the purpose of Trinity Financial Advisory Board is to provide guidance to the firm’s unique niche clientele. Through their own life experiences, Christian advisory board members can help guide athletes and entertainers through many of the challenges that celebrity can often bring.

“Peter Grandich has been a man of upstanding character and integrity in the financial arena, but even more so as an ambassador of Christ. The quality of our relationship precedes ‘the catch,’ giving me joy to serve in this capacity with Trinity Financial,” says David Tyree.

About David Tyree:

After playing college football at Syracuse University, David Tyree was drafted by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL draft. Both a wide receiver and special teams player, he earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2005 for his special teams play. The 6-foor-tall Tyree is best known for his incredible backwards “helmet catch” on the Giants’ final drive of Super Bowl XLII in 2008. The play, in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, was key to the Giants’ last-minute touchdown and 17-14 victory over the previously undefeated New England Patriots. ESPN Sportcenter later designated the catch as the greatest play in Super Bowl history.

David Tyree also played with the Baltimore Ravens before retiring from the NFL in 2010. He and his wife, Leilah, reside in New Jersey with their five children.
