A R T I C L E:
KnowledgeAdvisors, a learning measurement software and solutions company that improves the effectiveness of learning, today announced it has undertaken a landmark effort in developing a set of Talent Development Reporting Principles (TDRP) for L&D measurement. TDRP is an industry initiative supported and driven by many of KnowledgeAdvisors’ top clients and industry leaders.
TDRP provides organizations with a standardized framework for reporting on the current state of talent development internally. The short-term value for an organization is the ability to keep L&D and business leaders informed about talent development with easy to understand, standard metrics that cover three topics: (i) business outcomes, (ii) efficiency measures and (iii) effectiveness measures. In the long-term, TDRP will be similar in nature to the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in that it will provide a standard that increases measurement efficiency by concentrating measurement efforts on the minimum number of necessary and useful measures.
Organizations interested in further details about this research can access KnowledgeAdvisors’ TDRP dedicated resources page at: http://www.knowledgeadvisors.com/tdrp .
KnowledgeAdvisors will be hosting a TDRP related webinar on Monday, April 18th at 12pm CDT. The main learning objectives for this session will be to:
– Preview the history and context of the reporting principles
– Provide an Overview on the Talent Development Reporting Principles initiative
– Discuss the measurement framework for the executive reporting process
– Review the framework in-depth, including recommended reports
– Discuss the next steps for further executive reporting for learning.
“For many years, the learning profession has been challenged in reporting performance to executives. Recently an all star cast of CLO’s from major corporations convened to address this issue and create a common set of reporting principles the profession could leverage to have more meaningful dialogues with senior executives regarding learning,” stated Kent Barnett, CEO of KnowledgeAdvisors.
