With only fourteen percent of women leading in executive positions in the United States today, WomenLEAD, Inc. has their work cut out for them. Seeking to advance women in their careers via a new website that will offer an online community or “personal advisory board” made up of professional women globally this innovative company is thrilled to have been chosen as a Mass Challenge Finalist.

“It’s a great honor to join this dynamic group of entrepreneurs at the Mass Challenge,” says founder and CEO Ilene Fischer. “This will accelerate our mission to advance women in their career; and to close the gender gap globally.”

WomenLEAD’s mission is to disrupt and revolutionize mentorship through an innovative online “personal advisory board” platform that advances women in their careers, said Fischer.

“Research shows that one mentor may not have everything you need when you need it. With that in mind the WomenLEAD, Inc. site will provide women with an opportunity to create a personal group of advisors. These advisors will know the member’s strengths, challenges, and aspirations. With that knowledge they will bring their collective wisdom to bear on issues of concern,” added Fischer.
