Utelogy Corporation has signed a new lease to open its expanded corporate office and training facility within a mile of John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Calif. Utelogy is a leader in Software-Defined Audio Video (SDAV) technology primarily deployed in higher education institutions.
Using an open architecture, Utelogy allows campus IT departments to deploy advanced audio-visual technology equipment in classrooms that allow faculty to focus on collaboration and creating a learning experience tailored to the needs of the students.
“We’re very excited about the recent growth Utelogy has experienced and this new office will help us continue on that trajectory,” said CEO Frank Pellkofer. “Our classroom and conference room will be equipped with a lot of the AV equipment, Academic Technologies, and video technologies you see in higher education and conference facilities around the world.”
He added, “We’ll be able to demonstrate how Utelogy takes learning and collaboration concepts like Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) to the next level without restrictions. But this facility will also act as a think tank where we study the pedagogies and policies that new technologies affect.”
In addition to hosting its new corporate offices, the new facility will serve as both a training and demonstration center, and house the technical support department. Core development will continue to advance in this facility as it will also host the Utelogy skunk-works team.
