Project & Vendor Management Advisors Awarded a Cooperative Contract to Provide Disaster Recovery Services to Municipalities, Counties and School Districts

HOUSTON, Texas — Project & Vendor Management Advisors (PVMA), A Texas-based disaster recovery consulting provider, announced today that it has been selected as a disaster recovery consultant with Choice Partners Cooperative, to provide Choice Partner members a legal procurement and contract solution.

Choice Partners purchasing cooperative offers procurement and contract solutions to meet government purchasing requirements. PVMA has been pre-approved to be selected by any governmental entity in Texas to immediately offer services for today’s natural disasters.

“The PVMA team has provided disaster recovery services in Houston, Harris County and several other Texas municipalities and government agencies since 2010 and managed over $3.7 Billion in federal government recovery grant funds,” said Laurie Robinson, managing partner for PVMA.

For almost a decade, PVMA has assisted public sector clients with post-disaster recovery services, including financial reimbursement and documentation management services to recover costs and expenditures made during the disaster response.

“We are pleased to join Choice Partners as a preferred vendor to provide services to its cooperative members. This contract allows our seasoned team of disaster recovery professionals to mobilize and provide a rapid response for need disaster recovery services members need,” Robinson said.

PVMA has been on the ground working with the state, local communities, and federal agencies to manage large-scale disaster response and long-term recovery projects for many of the most significant disaster that hit the Gulf Coast and other regions in recent U.S. history. PVMA has managed disaster projects in 44 U.S. states and 3 U.S. territories for projects and programs funded by the Federally Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the State of Texas.
