ATLANTA, Ga. — The Dotz Company, LLC, an established games and toy business, is excited to announce a new product that’s fun for all ages – STiKidotz(TM). It’s sure the concept will take off, that’s why it’s launched a Kickstarter campaign to help get it off the ground.
So, what are STiKidotz(TM)? They’re customizable, re-stickable, brightly colored 3D art pixel stickers that you can design and redesign yourself.
STiKidotz(TM) are made from soft silicone, a material that is flexible and bendy and can be cut into any shape. The designs are created on the sticker using colorful dotzPIXELS(TM). These small pieces come in a 4×4 perforated dotzBLOK(TM) that can be easily separated into the dotzPIXELS(TM) that precisely fit on the silicone sticker.
Each sticker’s base is backed by a non-toxic adhesive, specially formulated to allow you to stick your design on any smooth surface. It can be removed and repositioned without leaving any residue behind. The sticker can be used on walls, windows, lockers, car bumpers, refrigerators, photo frames, signage, cabinets, mirrors, bath tub, tiles and more. The stickers can also be used outdoors. They’re currently available in eight colors and the dotzBLOK(TM) comes in 12 colors.
STiKidotz(TM) were created by entrepreneur CK Tan and his daughter Yannie Tan, who dreamed of creating an innovative and fun pixel art product that all ages would love and that families could enjoy making together.
“We’re saturated with technology at every turn, and while it’s useful and necessary, it’s nice to have a break. STiKidotz offer an alternative. They give kids and parents time to bond and play while doing something creative and fun,” said Mr. Tan.
Making 3D stickers is also a fun activity for kids at a birthday party or during family time. Designs are limitless, which lets imagination and creativity be their guide.
While creating STiKidotz(TM), this father and daughter duo also discovered that STiKidotz(TM) are a fun and engaging way to practice fine motor, design, graphing, visual, spatial and creative world-building skills.
“We’re convinced that STiKidotz would be a great addition to just about any classroom,” added Tan. “In fact, we eventually expect to see them used as part of a STEAM-related curriculum.”
The Dotz Company, LLC, is sponsoring the development of STiKidotz(TM), and will help bring it to market.
The STiKidotz(TM) Kickstarter campaign launches August 28, 2017. And since safety is a priority, the funds raised will be used for color and material safety testing for the silicone, production-ready prototypes, molds, packaging and more in order to help make STiKidotz(TM) a reality and available to the public.
STiKidotz(TM) is patent-pending and proudly designed and assembled in the USA.
