A R T I C L E:

Cochran, Cochran & Yale, LLC (CCY), who has been offering comprehensive Executive Search services nationwide since 1979, has been designated a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and awarded a GSA Preferred Supplier Contract valued at $1M.

Under Executive Service Order 13360, all Department of Defense acquisitions must set aside a minimum of 3% to prime contractors and 3% to sub-contractors for SDVOSBs, as a way of honoring their service to America. Cochran, Cochran & Yale is one of only a handful in its GSA category. The specific contract award to CCY spans five years and is for retained executive search services to any of these contractors per a negotiated GSA schedule.

Gary Baker, CCY President, notes: “While the application process was very rigorous, we’re delighted with the outcome. This designation and GSA contract not only opens the way for new customers, it helps our current ones. Many of them already do business with the federal government or have their own internal diversity requirements, so our designation as an SDVOSB becomes a valuable extra benefit of working with Cochran, Cochran and Yale.”

David Call, CCY Senior Vice-President adds: “Coincidentally this designation also marks our 31st anniversary of continuous service through boom times and bust. Today, as we see companies and professionals regain the confidence to make new moves, it’s more critical than ever to choose a partner with the commitment to individualize searches for exact needs-a CCY hallmark for thousands of successful matches.”
