Miracle On 134th Street – New Christmas Theme Park in Celina

CELINA, Texas -- Miracle on 134th Street is a new Christmas theme park open daily in Celina, Texas and a place for quality time during the holidays. Santa's sleigh seats the whole family and feels like it could take off at any moment. Mr. Claus himself is overseeing the magnificent workshop; and always welcoming the children for chats and pictures.

Santa's workshop is the main attraction featuring 8,500 square feet of holiday stations with elves building toys, stuffing teddy bears, wrapping presents, and sorting letters being mailed to the North Pole.

"Miracle on 134th Street is a holiday experience so quaint it could be a plot point in a Hallmark Christmas movie." - Dallas Observer.

Children can ride the Reindeer Express and nostalgic ponies on the Carousel of lights. They'll also encounter Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph and even the Abominable Snowman for hugs, laughter and photos. Explore the landscape of Christmas lights and meet the Peppermint Princesses. Cross the Bois d'arc bridge to see the Sugar Plumb Fairy island that the fairies call home.

"Best Santa experience ever, the grounds are gorgeous, all the staff/actors were so holly jolly, fun activities for the kids, and Santa's workshop was immaculate and fun! Will be back in the future for sure," stated Alicia Arruda after visiting with her family.

Toast s'mores by the fire, watch Christmas movies in the meadow, stroll through the twinkling tunnels, and enjoy the spirit of the holidays at Miracle on 134th Street. Enjoy cotton candy, cocoa, and more in the food court or purchase a sweatshirt from the gift shop.

"We had THE best time at Miracle On 134th Street in Celina! If you haven't gone this season, it is a MUST. The most magical place you'll take your kids this year. The best staff - so great with the kids! Ours seriously didn't want to leave! They said it was our best family Christmas experience ever," said Rebekah Johnson.

World of Illumination Unveils Two New Experiences in Georgia

ATLANTA, Ga. -- World of Illumination - the producer of the world's largest drive-through animated light show - is unveiling two new theme parks in the Atlanta-metro area. Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton will be home to Arctic Adventure and Six Flags White Water in Marietta will house Rockin' Christmas. Both shows feature millions of colorful lights and hundreds of animated displays synchronized to popular and beloved holiday music. The shows' construction is already underway and presale tickets are now on sale.

World of Illumination's Arctic Adventure is a polar-themed extravaganza that introduces guests to a 32-foot-tall snowman named Sunny and all of his tundra-bound friends. With whimsical winter characters and a simulated snowfall, visitors will be mesmerized by the larger-than-life, interactive nature of the experience, which opens November 12, 2021.

The musically themed Rockin' Christmas showcases such elements as gigantic boomboxes, iPods and jukeboxes along with DJ Santa and his sidekick the Little Drummer Boy spinning tunes for disco dancers. Additionally, a 500-foot long RGB LED tunnel doubles as Santa's magic portal. The show opens November 17.

Designed to be enjoyed from the safety and comfort of the guest's vehicle, both attractions are about one mile in length and take approximately 25-30 minutes to drive through.

"Our team is thrilled to be bringing these two state-of-the-art shows to Georgia," said Yakir Urman, World of Illumination CEO. "Each experience is completely different from the other and we hope Atlanta residents will visit both this holiday season."

World of Illumination's shows will be open nightly, including holidays, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. All ticket prices are per vehicle, so guests can load up their cars with family and friends to enjoy the show.

From now until October 26, presale tickets are available for a discounted rate. A portion of proceeds benefits Make-A-Wish Georgia.

Online reservations are required and tickets will not be sold at the gate.

Best U.S. Theme Parks Celebrated in Top Villas Awards

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Top Villas, one of the world's leading luxury villa rental specialists, has unveiled its ranking of the best theme parks to visit in the United States through the inaugural Theme Park Awards.

Seeking an alternative to traditional theme park rankings, Top Villas has endeavoured to undertake an impartial view of theme parks, using a range of freely available data from 30 different states across nine categories.

The Northeast was perhaps the strongest performer in the awards. Fourteen theme parks from this region ranked in the top 10 across all categories, including two first place finishes from Hersheypark In Pennsylvania and 11 finishes in the top five across various states.

"The formulation of the Top Villas Awards is intended not just as a welcome reward for the theme parks," said Top Villas CEO James Mannings, "but also a resource for the thousands of Top Villas guests who vacation in the country every year. Our experts have taken the time and effort to help our guests experience the best selection of theme parks possible."

The awards were granted using a detailed and impartial methodology, with qualifying parks being judged on nine different attributes. Information was aggregated and compared to determine key features that visitors would be looking for in a vacation.

All information was collected from theme park websites and included quantitative elements such as the number of thrill rides or rides for children, as well as qualitative elements, such as the average price of a ride and price of a season pass.
