“Try it and have some fun,” says David Schmucker, site creator and president of DataOvertheWeb.com, a Microsoft Access development and training company. “I had the idea for a while and was encouraged by colleagues to put it together. Test a few sounds before you use them. Then, when you’re on the phone with someone and you have to find a way to end the conversation, go to the site, and click away. Be sure your computer’s speaker volume is on.”
Organized by “Office,” “Home” and “Oddball,” SorryGottaGo.com sound effects include fire drills, cell phone line static, honking horns, helicopter blades, buzzing flies, coughs that won’t quit, and a herd of cows passing by the window.
