The kitchen was designed to allow intuitive movement from storage to preparation, cooking, and cleaning stations. To maximize functionality and storage space, Farrando incorporated two islands and a dramatic wall of tall units in highly reflective and durable blue solid ray-the color of the Cordon Bleu. Deep drawers allow easy – and ergonomic – access to pots and pans, and storage units are coupled with a ladder to allow easy access to items used less frequently.
Earlier this year, the homeowner explained to the Metrowest Daily News why she enjoyed the kitchen. “I walked into the Arclinea center and that was it,” she recalled…. “I just like the feeling, the emotion, that I have when I come into this kitchen. It’s such a cook’s kitchen-a true cook’s kitchen, and I’m humbled by that. Whenever we come in here and are cooking together, we discover something new about this kitchen. It’s amazing.
