REDMOND, Wash., April 27 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Respondus received the highest customer satisfaction score among 44 higher education e-learning vendors that were included in a report by The Alliance for Higher Education Competitiveness (A-HEC). The report is based on survey responses from leaders of Internet-supported learning initiatives in higher education.

A-HEC, a non-profit research and educational organization, analyzes trends and customer satisfaction in higher education Internet-supported learning. Their findings indicate that there is a "robust market" for third party quizzing and assessment tools, with adoption occurring in 31% of all Internet-learning initiatives. Of the nine areas analyzed, the report states that "[t]he category of third party quizzing and assessment tools scored highest in satisfaction with Respondus showing a clear lead in market share and the highest overall score of all products and services."

According to A-HEC president Rob Abel, "The strength and satisfaction of the quizzing and assessment category was truly impressive. On a 5-point scale, the assessment category had an overall rating of 3.96, by far the highest of all categories analyzed for Internet-learning initiatives. Respondus had a strong showing, both from an adoption and customer satisfaction standpoint."

"I think the key to customer satisfaction is to make your products work seamlessly with partner platforms, such as course management systems," said David Smetters, President of Respondus. "Customers want all of their e-learning technologies to work together. If vendors create customer-focused applications that integrate seamlessly with other e-learning systems, you're almost assured to receive high marks from customers."
