FORT COLLINS, Colo., Jan. 5 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Fort Collins branch of the Financial Foundation Group, also known as FFG, had a humbling experience on Friday, December 5th, 2008. Employees of the Financial Foundation Group met at the Fort Collins Salvation Army off College Street and Drake Street instead of going into the office. The day consisted of sorting and organizing donated holiday packages in order to help create a little brighter holiday season for less fortunate families.

FFG“It was truly humbling to see just how great the need is for holiday gifts this time of year and it really moves your heart to see how many caring people came together to make sure parents have the chance to provide for their families,” Aryn B. Goldman, Executive Director of FFG says. “Volunteering at the Salvation Army allowed the reps at our branch to help families with even more than life insurance, college saving strategies or retirement savings. It was an overall rewarding experience.”

William Booth started the Salvation Army in 1865. Booth was a London minister who decided to bring his message to the public to reach those who were hungry, poor and homeless. The Salvation Army has grown throughout the entire world. Many services were created to aid immeasurable amounts of people, including The Salvation Army mission hospital, food depot, women’s social work and more. Today the Salvation Army is stronger than ever before. Currently, the Salvation Army is in over 106 nations worldwide and provides efforts where they are needed most.

In April of 2008, through an affiliated company the Fort Collins branch of the Financial Foundation Group opened its doors to cater to clients in the Northern part of Colorado. Not only has FFG as a whole experienced significant growth from its roots in 2002, the Fort Collins branch is expanding as well.

“FFG is a company with a lot of energy and momentum to move forward even in turbulent times. The company as a whole has created an atmosphere of positive, people-oriented services,” comments Ms. Goldman.

Associates of the Financial Foundation Group are also registered representatives with and offer securities through InterSecurities, Inc. (ISI), member FINRA, SIPC. ISI, an AEGON company, is a national full service Broker/Dealer offering investment, retirement and insurance products and services which allows their representatives to offer financial products to suit each individual client’s needs.

The knowledgeable staff at FFG has access to a wide array of investment products and can provide assistance with life insurance choices and providing wealth building strategies.
