Launching a new way to convert subtitles to audio using text-to-speech AI voice generators, Narakeet makes it simple to tailor videos to global audiences

WOKING, U.K. -- Aiming to make text to speech technology available to everyone, Narakeet today unveiled a way to seamlessly convert video subtitles into audio using state-of-the-art text to speech AI. This innovative solution emerges in response to the increasing demand for video content tailored to global audiences.

By swiftly converting written subtitles into lifelike audio narration, content creators can now effortlessly bridge language barriers. A typical use case is to provide audio tracks in different languages for videos. Instead of forcing the audience to read subtitles in a local language, video producers can engage their audiences more effectively using native audio.

Until now, providing audio tracks in multiple languages was a laborious task. Even with automated voice generators, someone would need to record lots of small sound snippets and manually synchronize them to the original visuals using video editing software. Narakeet's latest offering allows companies to localize video content by automatically synchronizing AI voice output to subtitle and closed caption timestamps, saving significant time and effort.

"Working together with clients from various industries, from religious organizations wanting to reach global audiences, to large enterprises that need to offer internal training videos to their workforce in multiple languages, we have been developing and testing this solution over the last few months. It's very exciting to be able to open it to the general public," said Gojko Adzic, founder of Narakeet.

"Instead of wasting hours on aligning audio with video, this new tool makes it trivially easy to produce alternative language soundtracks. Just upload a translated subtitle file with original timestamps, choose one of our 600 realistic voice generators in 90 languages, and get a perfectly synchronized audio track in minutes."

According to a recent report by Valuates, "The global AI Voice Generator market is expected to grow from $2.4 billion in 2023 to $7.2 billion by 2029." Making text to speech technology easily accessible to mass market consumers will be a key factor for that growth.

"Realistic text to speech technology is now easily available online, but more complex usage scenarios often require programming skills and technical knowledge beyond the reach of the usual consumer," said Adzic. "We are putting all that power in the hands of regular people, who don't have the time or skills to build their own processing systems."

The Narakeet subtitle audio generator supports both commonly used standards for subtitle files, SRT and WebVTT. It is available as an online tool for individual users, and as a developer API for companies that want to automate alternative audio track recordings for hundreds or thousands of videos.

Digitalised Old Vine Registry Launches to Global Wine Community Via Live Webinar

LONDON, U.K. -- On Monday, June 26, thought-leaders and pioneers in the realm of old vines hosted a live webinar to launch The Old Vine Registry: the world's most comprehensive database of living historic vineyard sites, The Old Vine Conference announced today. The Old Vine Registry, which is free to view, is an evolution of what started as a simple spreadsheet and has been completely digitalised to become an unmatched resource for the global wine industry, the academic world, and wine lovers around the globe.

470 people registered to attend the one-hour live webinar which reached 35 countries around the world. Jancis Robinson MW, Sarah Abbott MW and California-based wine writer Alder Yarrow were joined by Founder & Chairperson of The Old Vine Project in South Africa Rosa Kruger, VP of Wine Education at Jackson Family Wines Gilian Handelman, and Senior Editor of JancisRobinson.com Tamlyn Currin. The panel used the webinar to unveil The Old Vine Registry website, explain how it is funded, how to use it and how the global wine community can help to keep it up to date.

"It's hard to find projects that feel this level of energy and are imbued with so much good will," explained Gilian Handelman, VP of Wine Education at Jackson Family Wines, whose charitable donation funded the initial build of the Old Vine Registry.

Alder Yarrow, Founder & Editor at Vinography.com is the architect behind the design and build of The Old Vine Registry and has driven the project from concept to realisation. Introducing his guide on how to use the Registry he explained, "We're launching the minimum viable product (MVP), there's plenty more that we know we would like to add and change but the purpose of an MVP is to get it into the hands of the people that will actually use it and hopefully will tell us what they would like to see added, changed and attributed to the site."

The Old Vine Registry is a search-based tool designed for users to search for anything they might be looking for in the realm of old vines but, explains Yarrow, "The real magic and benefit of The Old Vine Registry is the 'Find wines from this vineyard' functionality which directs the user to wine-searcher.com and closes the commercial loop that old vines desperately need. It's one thing to champion old vine vineyards and talk about their value but if no one is actually buying, tasting and enjoying the wines they will never be commercially viable and will eventually be ripped out."

Jancis Robinson MW started writing about the world's heritage of old vines more than 15 years ago and began documenting them in the form of a rudimentary spreadsheet with writer Tamlyn Currin. Over the years as the spreadsheet grew, so did knowledge of its existence so that wineries and growers would submit details of their old vines to be added to the list by Currin and wine blogger Benjamin Roelfs.

As of Monday 26th June the Old Vine Registry has 2,200 vineyards recorded from entries collected over 13 years. Portugal and Spain lead with 822 and 383 old vineyards registered respectively. The United States comes in third with 334 vineyards, followed by Australia and France with 208 and 142 respectively.

In her closing remarks at the launch of The Old Vine Registry Jancis Robinson MW gave a rallying call for action: 'I urge everybody to participate in the Old Vine Registry: visit it, explore it, enjoy it! Let's see this grow and let's see everyone's hard work, particularly that of Alder Yarrow, bear fruit to the benefit of all of us and to the world's beautiful old vines.'

Metaversing Addresses Climate Change and other UN Goals with AI Brainstorming

CAMBRIDGE, U.K. -- A new series of techniques and stratagems aimed at achieving a sustainable future for the Earth is being pioneered by researchers from groups like This is Zero Hour, Earth Guardians, and the Indigenous Environmental Network, as well as students from Oxford, Harvard, Cambridge, and Stanford. Called Metaversing, it differs from what is commonly known as the 'Metaverse' in that it starts from a serious consideration of what planet and people need most right now, rather than from considering future uses of technologies like AR and VR in and for themselves.

According to CTO Savannah Partridge, "We as a species need to use whatever methods are most capable of efficiently addressing issues like Climate Change, and we need to do it immediately."

Throughout 2022 Zoom meetings have been held to address the UN's 17 Agenda for Sustainability Goals using Mind mapping AI software including generateideas.ai. This program accesses 174 billion parameters derived from the Web, and when used by a trained group on a video call, incites brainstorms that can instigate fresh perspectives on current Sustainability issues.

Part of the program's appeal is that it seeks to evoke several basic emotional motivations among Zoom call participants, which make the online brainstorms resemble a mental and emotional experience something like a classic Hero's Journey. "Between 200,000 and 50,000 years ago, our ancestors roamed across the African savannahs in small bands. Each tribal member probably was called upon daily to contribute efforts towards solving serious problems faced by the group, including finding food and water, dealing with illness, and avoiding predation.

"Our Metaversing groups seem to duplicate the spirit of these ancient peoples, in that every Zoom call participant has an equal opportunity to suggest, develop, and refine solutions using the AI software," says Metaversing's Partnerships Director Soani Gunawan. "During most sessions we actively invoke affect-driven motivational experiences like laughter, compassion, friendly competition, gratitude, awe, curiosity, crowdsourced experiments, and communal teamwork to enhance the Mind Mapping. This leads to more effective solution-finding, and makes the process more fulfilling for all."

Because Metaversing posits that saving Earth from existential crises like Climate Change requires motivations tailored to every basic human need, it sees environmental improvement and personal growth as both equal in importance and interdependent. "The things we can do to effect a sustainable future can be personally rewarding, growth-inducing, and even fun" says the group's Education coordinator John Toomey. Eventually the group plans to host hundreds of online brainstorming sessions all over the world.

Successful projects created by participants are eligible to win Metaversing's Hero Award, conferred upon those who develop the best solutions for one of the UN's Sustainability Goals. Their prize consists of carbon credits obtained from providers including https://terrapass.com/ and https://marketplace.goldstandard.org/.

Launching a new text to speech integration API, Narakeet makes it possible for anyone to access realistic, natural, text to speech voices

WOKING, U.K. -- Text to Speech technology adoption is surging worldwide, driven by online education, businesses struggling to provide effective training to work-from-home employees, and companies adopting emerging technologies to communicate with customers. With the new integration interface, Narakeet aims to democratize access to high quality AI voices, making it possible for anyone to easily use text to speech functionality in their own applications.

The global text to speech market is expected to reach more than $7 billion over the next four years, according to Emergen Research. Based on deep neural networks and machine learning, modern text to speech processors can mimic human voice with incredible accuracy, but they can be complicated to set up and operate.

"Over the years we've accumulated one of the largest online collections of realistic text to speech voices, with everything from popular English dialects to Icelandic and Macedonian," said Gojko Adzic, founder of Narakeet, "and we've been hearing from other application developers that they would love to get the same high quality of voices but within their software."

Narakeet is a text-to-speech video maker that turns Powerpoint slides into narrated videos. Although it had a third-party developer integration option since 2020, it was optimized for large tasks and long jobs suitable for video contents. Audio projects are a lot simpler.

"Instead of a long and complicated process, the simplified streaming API helps you achieve everything you need with just a single request," said Adzic. "Anyone can now use our collection of more than 350 voices in 60 languages and develop the integration within minutes."

Recent advances in the quality of voice output as well as hardware performance are opening new use cases for automated voice communication. According to Markets and Markets Research, the "growing need for automation and convenience is increasing the adoption of text-to-speech technology in everyday applications."

Text to speech technology is already quickly being adopted in automotive and transportation industries, in healthcare, finance, education and consumer electronics industries, and many others.

Athanasian Hall Spotlights Fellow Dr. Fidelis Mukudi’s Work in Functional Analysis and Nanotechnology

OXFORD, U.K. -- Athanasian Hall, a research center headquartered in the UK, announces Fellow Dr. Fidelis Mukudi's upcoming presentations in Analysis and Nanotechnology in Rome and Dubai. Dr. Fidelis Mukudi received a Ph. D. in Functional Analysis from Kibabii University, having performed extensive research on the theory of Self-Adjoint Operators.

As a postgraduate student of outstanding promise, Dr. Mukudi already explored the frontiers of Functional Analysis, Complex Analysis, and the "Theory of Operators". In April 2022, he will deliver an address in Dubai on polynomials arising in unbounded operators defined in Hilbert Spaces.

In October, he will present novel results on the spectral properties of commutants of unbounded self-adjoint operators with simple spectra in Rome at the International Conference on Present Advances in Pure and Applied Mathematics.

According to Dr. Jonathan Kenigson, the acting Don of Athanasian Hall, Cambridge LTD, "The study of Hilbert spaces and the operators defined upon them represent a nontrivial component of modern mathematical physics. These results...often find application in the Quantum realm, where results on Operator Algebras often have corollaries in Field Theory, Information Uncertainty, and Nanotechnology. Dr. Mukudi has substantial promise as a research scholar in Functional Analysis because of his ability to think about interdisciplinary topics from the unifying perspective of Linear Analysis."

Athanasian Hall, Cambridge LTD is an independent think-tank devoted to interdisciplinary research in the Quadrivium in its most modern expressions.

According to Dr. Kenigson, "We are a pure research institute independent of the University of Cambridge. Our scholars are encouraged, but not required, to pursue affiliation with scientific bodies in the city or with university institutes. With respect to Dr. Mukudi...we will nominate him for the greatest possible support we can offer to early-career researchers. He exemplifies the best characteristics of the Liberal Arts tradition while remaining superbly qualified in all areas of modern pure mathematics. Our scholars have a great deal of latitude to choose their courses of research and can freely change university affiliation without losing the support of our faculty, which is international."

Dr. Mukudi is receptive to requests for funded postdoctoral fellowships and similar support at top institutes. According to Kenigson, "Investment in such work is of broad benefit to society even if its applications are not known in advance. Esoteric mathematics often becomes the main component of new physical and economic theories that influence the lives of millions of people."

Athanasian Hall to Explore New Relationships Between Prime Numbers and String Theory

LONDON, U.K. -- The study of abstract physics is often seen as separate from pure mathematics. Subjects like Black Holes, Low-Temperature Gases, Gravitation, and Electromagnetism are considered in the domain of physics rather than mathematics. "This distinction is, however, being challenged daily by advances in combinatorics and number theory applied to String Propagation...and the invariants of the Gromov-Witten Theory," states Dr. Jonathan Kenigson of Athanasian Hall.

Dr. Kenigson states that, "The primary focus of my research this year, and that of some of my colleagues, is the tangle of bridges connecting primality, combinatorics, and paradigms of String propagation." His collaborators at the research institute Athanasian Hall, Cambridge work largely independently. They are "highly motivated and accomplished scholars, and can undertake whatever research efforts they wish. I never put restrictions on such inquiry."

"As an example of what I endeavor to consider this year, one may speculate about the following scenario: String interaction operators arising from Lagrangians often arise very organically in terms of Riemann Zeta Functions of the particle number in Fermionic systems and others. These operators are complicated functions of ratios of Gamma functions and Zeta analogues whose representations are complex. It would be nice to have a compact representation of the related coefficients in terms of known combinatorial entities."

Combinatorics is the study of counting, so what Dr. Kenigson is saying is that he and his colleagues want to count the strings in predictable ways.

"Recent advances in Russia and France have made explicit relationships between globally convergent series representations of classical Zeta functions and their Hurwitz analogues commensurable with statements about choice functions, Bell Numbers, Catalan Numbers, Stirling Numbers, and many other special series." The goal of the research is to explore these relationships in the paradigm of String Theory, especially "as related to Black Holes, Fuzzballs, the Thermodynamic properties of plasmas, and high-dimensional analogues of Fermionic and Bose-Einstein Gases."

Last year, "we explored the Chandrasekhar Limit for extremal stellar implosion as a function of degeneracy pressure using Gamma Functions in high Euclidean dimensions. A Gamma Paradigm was helpful for this work, which is still ongoing."

Gamma functions are generalizations of the factorial function. If you remember from school, for instance, 4! = 4*3*2*1 = 24.

Dr. Kenigson states that "such functions arise in permutation groups on finite words, in the theory of geometric permutations, and in symmetry structures like U(n) and SU(n) which encode deep information about systemic invariants".

AeroJet Me and Travala.com Join Forces Taking Luxury Travel to New Horizons

LONDON, U.K. -- A leading international private jet rental company, AeroJet Me, and travel booking platform Travala.com, signed a partnership agreement on April 9 this year, consolidating an already exclusive and unique service - offering to customers travelling for business or for pleasure. This will be welcome news for those wishing to pack their bags in times when demand for travel is slowly but surely picking up.

The new partnership will allow AeroJet Me to continue developing its growing network of business partners while Travala.com will now be able to add a luxury jet rental booking to its already attractive palette of services.

"We are excited to be partnering with Travela.com in line with our common objective of satisfying our high-end clients' needs," says Irina Duisimbekova, co-founder & CEO of AeroJet Me.

Private jet travel versus commercial aviation

Private jet aviation booking platforms like AeroJet Me, are today re-inventing the luxury travel industry. Despite recent vaccine rollouts the regular commercial airline industry, hit hard by the pandemic, is still struggling to pick up. Luxury jet rental businesses, thanks to their VIP Client service teams available around the clock 24/7, is becoming the most viable option for time-pressed clients seeking hassle-free and tailor-made travel solutions.

Time, being life's most precious commodity, is something that is prized, with customers spared from needlessly waiting at busy airports' ticket or security counters. Clients are offered total flexibility- able to choose from tens of thousands of different destinations in addition to selecting from an extensive aircraft fleet spanning cargo charters, light-midsize business jets to helicopters.

Promising future for a luxury jet niche segment

Recent studies show a clear spike in the number of inquiries by potential clients wishing to travel by private jets. On average in 2020, compared to the previous year, the increase has been over 40 %. The Covid-19 pandemic has undoubtedly contributed to the growing number of passengers turning their backs on conventional first-class travel on commercial airlines which have seen flight schedules severely disrupted, with clients instead opting for 4-6 seat private jets to get them safely to their desired destinations.

Another interesting development that is giving the luxury jet travel niche sector a fresh impetus, is the declining demand for private jet ownership by ultra-high net worth individuals and businesses alike. Attitudes are changing, with clients putting their faith in private jet broker companies like AeroJet Me, who have the know-how of how best to cater for the most demanding of client needs. Time will tell if working from remote and secluded luxury destinations will be a trend that will perpetuate. However, one thing is sure - private jet travel is only just taking off towards new horizons.

Adding 60 Text-to-Speech Voices, Narakeet Enables Educators To Easily Create Video Lessons in Regional Dialects

WOKING, U.K. -- Remote and virtual learning environments are putting educators under pressure to create engaging video materials, yet few teachers have the equipment or skills to record professional audio. Adding 60 new voices, Narakeet this week enabled educators to easily create video lessons and voiceovers in 40 languages and regional dialects.

NCTQ studies found that teachers spend 45 minutes on average planning lessons. Having to record audio and edit videos puts additional pressure on already busy schedules, often requiring hours of extra work per day. Neural AI text-to-speech systems, with natural sounding voices, offer a compelling alternative to recorded audio, cutting preparation time from hours to minutes. Until recently, AI voices only represented major language variants, limiting the effectiveness of this approach. According to Statista research, accent or dialect issues are the second biggest barrier to adoption for voice technology in 2021, affecting 66% of respondents.

"Students like to hear voices that sound like them. They engage better with content in regional dialects. Using our new voices, educators can make video lessons that speak to their audience much more effectively," said Gojko Adzic, founder of Narakeet.

Narakeet is a text-to-speech video maker that turns PowerPoint slides into narrated videos. This week's update brings support for English variants including South African, Irish, Nigerian and Filipino voices; French with Swiss, Canadian and Belgian dialects; Spanish with Mexican and Puerto Rican variants and improved Brazilian Portuguese and Indian English.

"Combined with the recent addition of Swiss German and New Zealand English, Narakeet now has a rich collection of local dialects in many popular languages, and one the largest collections of neural text-to-speech generators," said Adzic. "Some of our competitors may offer a larger list of options, but they include older technology which cannot mimic human speech, and often provide the same voice with regional variants. Narakeet does not reuse voices across local variants, so each voice is unique."

According to MarketsandMarkets research, the text-to-speech market was valued at USD 2.0 billion in 2020 and is estimated to reach USD 5.0 billion by 2026, driven by the rising demand for handheld devices and increased investment in government spending on education. The COVID-19 pandemic caused a significant growth in demand for cloud-based solutions, especially important for schools as they shifted from in-person education to remote, virtual learning environments and mixed educational models.
