PROVO, Utah — Simplifile, a leading provider of real estate document collaboration and recording technologies for lenders, settlement agents, and counties, announced that it has reached the $100,000 mark in charitable donations made through its philanthropic initiative Simplifile Cares.
Started in 2015, Simplifile Cares was created to enable Simplifile and its employees to give back to the community and support housing-related charities. To date, Simplifile has raised a total of $100,749 for a variety of charitable organizations, including its primary beneficiary Habitat for Humanity. Simplifile has donated to 116 Habitat chapters throughout the U.S., and its employees have contributed 308 volunteer hours. In total, charities in 37 states have benefitted from Simplifile Cares’ fundraising and volunteer efforts.
“Each year, Simplifile travels to hundreds of real estate, title, mortgage, and county association events throughout the country, and we thought, ‘What better way to give back than to contribute to local organizations in the areas where we’re doing business,’ and thus Simplifile Cares was born,” said Simplifile President Paul Clifford.
“To see this idea grow into such a success is immensely rewarding, and I’m proud of the positive impact our company and employees are making not just in our home state of Utah, but throughout the U.S.”
