LEXINGTON, N.C. — Saving Grace K9s announced today the 3rd Annual Salute to Service Jeep Show and Ride will be held October 30, 2021 12-5. The Salute to Service Jeep Show and Ride is in honor of SPC Nickolas Maner. Nick was a combat veteran who served in the Army from 2010-2014 and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. He, like so many other combat veterans, had PTSD and made the final decision to end his pain on October 30, 2017. 22 veterans a day commit suicide.
Nick’s parents have vowed to keep his memory alive while bringing awareness to veteran suicide. You won’t want to miss the Jeep Stephanie Maner lovingly calls Nick Nack.
All proceeds will benefit Saving Grace K9s, a nonprofit organization located in Lexington NC. Their mission is two-fold: provide service dogs for veterans with combat PTSD and provide healing to the family unit. All of this is provided to the veterans and their families at no cost to them.
All vehicles are welcome, the cost per vehicle is $10. Everyone will meet at Meadowview Reformed Presbyterian Church (1 Grace Way Dr Lexington, NC) at 12 p.m. The ride leaves at 1 p.m., driving to Saving Grace K9s (760 Sink Farm Rd Lexington, NC) where Jeep registration will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Jeep Registration is $20 per Jeep for all categories: Most Patriotic, Best Detailed, Most Creative Build, Brightest Build, Best of Show and ORO-Fab Choice of Show.
There will be food served on site, raffles and items for sale from Saving Grace K9s.
