* LET low-energy impact tester for multi-purpose indentation assessments. A multi-actuator chassis enables simultaneous folding motion combined with variable low impact energy testing. Controlled adjustments in impact and with different materials and sizes, enables scratch (steel wool), soft indentation (human pushing), hard indentation (stylus simulation), and other impact assessments.

* Flexdata SaaS data platform optimized for Yuasa endurance testers, enabling remote monitoring and collaboration around sample testing. Flexdata enables easy set-up for repetitive or similar testing parameters, multi-level real-time data analysis, data storage in secure cloud environment, with two-way communication and data exchange capabilities. Compatible with passive component environment tests.

Google's Reliability Lab utilizes Bayflex/Yuasa equipment for display testing, noting: "Comprehensive and accurate reliability assessment of foldable displays has been always very challenging. Specifically assessing the right failure mode and failure time/cycle is very crucial for foldable display development."

25 Women Share True Stories to Inspire Others while Raising Funds for a Community NonProfit for Women

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Author Diane M. Dresback invited 25 women to write a chapter in the book, "From Us For You: Inspiring Stories of Healing, Growth and Transformation." This compilation of stories about women coming through life-altering situations and challenging journeys provides readers hope and inspiration. Chapters are as unique as the women (aged 30s to 80s) as they share about debilitating illness, dysfunctional relationships, childhood trauma, violence, struggles in seeking passion for career and life.

"My intention with this endeavor is to bring encouragement to every women to be stronger-to thrive in their own light," says author Diane Dresback. "Everybody has a story. Everybody. Plan sponsors should prepare for smooth sailing for ‘SECURE Act 2.0’ retirement reform bill

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Independent, full-service employee benefits consulting firm Strategic Benefits Advisors, Inc. (SBA) issued a statement today notifying plan sponsors of pending bipartisan legislation that could significantly impact employer-sponsored retirement plans. The House Ways and Means Committee unanimously passed the Securing a Strong Retirement Act of 2021 on Wednesday, May 5; now the bill moves on to the full House, where it enjoys considerable bipartisan support.

Designed to build on the SECURE Act - and, consequently, dubbed the 'SECURE Act 2.0' - the proposed retirement reform legislation seeks to enhance the long-term financial security of millions of Americans by providing wider access to retirement savings. While most provisions of the legislation would apply to plan years beginning after December 31, 2022, certain provisions would apply after December 31, 2021.

SBA Principal Andy Adams offered the following summary of SECURE Act 2.0 provisions that are likely to affect a majority of retirement plan sponsors. According to Adams, the bill:

* Requires plan sponsors to automatically enroll employees in 401(k) and 403(b) plans unless they specifically opt out

* Introduces several changes to required minimum distribution (RMD) rules:

- Raises the RMD age (the age at which participants must begin withdrawing from their retirement accounts) from 72 to 75 over 10 years

- Reduces the individual tax penalty for failure to take the RMD

- Provides more flexibility in the allowable timing, amounts and features of life annuities to satisfy RMD requirements

- Expands the amount that can be excluded from RMD rules if used to purchase qualified longevity annuity contracts

* Ties the IRA catch-up contribution limit, which allows those age 50 and older to make additional contributions beyond the standard limit, to inflation

* Creates new, higher catch-up contribution limits that apply at ages 62, 63 and 64 for those who participate in employer-sponsored retirement plans, including SIMPLE plans

* Allows individuals to pay down a student loan instead of contributing to a 401(k) plan and still receive an employer match in their retirement plan

* Allows employers to offer small, immediate financial incentives to employees to join retirement plans

* Requires plan sponsors to allow part-time employees who work at least 500 hours a year for 2 consecutive years (not 3 years, as under current law) to participate in company 401(k) plans

* Gives plan sponsors greater flexibility in correcting plan errors, for example:

- Allows more time to correct missed contributions to employees' retirement accounts without penalties

- Expands the scope of the Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS), which allows plan sponsors to self-report errors to the IRS and correct those errors without drastic penalties

* Limits the degree to which plans may seek to recoup excess retirement plans payments from participants

* Instructs the Department of Labor to issue new guidance for benchmarking of target date funds

* Limits the disclosures required to those not participating in plans

* Creates a central data repository for lost participants (the 'Retirement Savings Lost and Found')

* Requires plan sponsors to provide participants with at least one paper account statement per year

* Adjusts top-heavy rules for certain DC plans

* Gives employers latitude to rely on employee self-certification that hardship distribution requirements have been met

Certain additional provisions, Adams noted, apply only to public employer plans or to special classes of individuals such as military personnel, firefighters and first responders. Other provisions not summarized here are likely to affect only a small percentage of plans. Read the full text of H.R. 2954, the Securing a Strong Retirement Act of 2021, here.

"With strong, bipartisan support for this legislation among both House and Senate membership, the odds are good that the so-called 'SECURE Act 2.0' will enjoy a relatively smooth path toward final passage," said Adams. "Retirement plan sponsors should take this opportunity to familiarize themselves with the bill's provisions and put a strategy in place for implementing necessary plan changes by the end of next year."

Major Part of James Dean’s Infamous Porsche 550 Spyder Heads to Auction – Bring A Trailer

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- More than 65 years after the infamous crash, a major component of the James Dean Porsche 550 Spyder will be offered at auction, Don Ahearn, Owner, announced today. This will be the first time ever a confirmed part of the Porsche 550 Spyder will be offered for sale. The online auction is being held by Bring A Trailer, the largest enthusiast based online auction site for unique automobiles, parts and Automobilia. Bring A Trailer is based in San Francisco, California.

Found in rural Massachusetts, the original and complete transaxle assembly has seen the light of day after being stored in a wooden crate and hidden from public view for over 30 years. An East Coast Porsche collector unveiled this discovery last September from the car that many Porsche enthusiasts consider to be the most famous of the marque.

This assembly may be the only documented and provable part of the James Dean Spyder known to still exist, and it is certainly the only part anyone may be able to see publicly. It is one of three permanently traceable components of a 550 Spyder. These include; the chassis, the engine, and the gearbox/transaxle. This transaxle is stamped with the correct factory serial number #10046.

The history of James Dean and his 550 Spyder has been well written elsewhere so there is no need to repeat it here in detail.

The original body/chassis #550-055 was reported stolen in 1960 while returning from a highway safety exhibit, never to be seen again. There have been rumors in past years of the whereabouts of the lost wreck though none have been substantiated. The original engine #P90059 is reported to still be in California, though it has not been seen nor verified in decades. This gearbox assembly could be the only verifiable part of the famous car that will ever be available to be seen by fans of James Dean.

Now removed from the wooden crate, the transaxle is mounted in a display stand custom fabricated by expert metal shaper Steve Hogue. It displays the assembly exactly as it was in the original 550 Spyder.

The online auction will end on Saturday May 29, 2021 at 2:05 ET.

Chicago Rock Band Lucky Boys Confusion Celebrates 20th Album Anniversary with Global Streaming Event Memorial Day Weekend

CHICAGO, Ill. -- It's been twenty years since Lucky Boys Confusion arrived on the global scene with their 2001 debut, "Throwing the Game." During the TTG era, the hard-touring Chicago five-piece crisscrossed the U.S. innumerable times over, made their national television debut on the CBS Late Late Show, and even made a pit stop in Japan to play for their enthusiastic overseas fan base.

The ensuing two decades have been a story of artistic growth (see 2003's follow-up, "Commitment") and perseverance through tragedy (the unexpected loss of founding member Joe Sell in 2012) as the band has continued to perform and create, culminating with their 2017 comeback record, "Stormchasers."

Now, with the "Throwing the Game 20th Anniversary Special" the boys are back, and ready to celebrate their legacy. This special global streaming event - an "in-studio concert & documentary special" - is a combination of recently recorded live footage (including TTG classics such as "40/80'" and "Fred Astaire"), new interviews with the band members, and unearthed archival footage from the recording of the album, as well as the ensuing 2001-2002 tours. Oh, and maybe a few surprise guests will drop by to say hello!

The "Throwing the Game 20th Anniversary Special" streams worldwide on Thursday, May 27 at 8 p.m. Central Time on the Moment House streaming platform (https://www.momenthouse.com/co/luckyboysconfusion-throwing-the-game-20-year-anniversary), where the band will be doing a live, virtual "VIP after party" with fans immediately following the airing.
