Gabriele Ciampi’s New Release – She Walks in Beauty – Musically Transforms Lord Byron’s Poem into Message of Hope

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- With lyrics inspired by famed poet, Lord Byron, Gabriele Ciampi's, "She Walks in Beauty" was composed and orchestrated by him to pay tribute to the heroes on the frontline of the current pandemic. This eloquent music video serves as a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel with the promise of a return to normal. The video and song will be released, worldwide, on May 15 by Universal Music Group.

Ciampi, a globally-acclaimed musician, was struck by how Byron's poem could be musically translated into a pandemic metaphor.

"Byron writes about how a woman's beauty is in harmony with the natural forces of light and dark, much like the opposing forces society is currently dealing with - the daily uncertainty balanced by the future of hope," he says.

The darkness of the night represents uncertainty and the fear of a terrible, unknown disease. But, when the woman's gaze lights up and she smiles again, it's the hope of returning to normality.

Ciampi, who typically composes and orchestrates, plays piano in this new release too. And, it's original orchestration and arrangement was all done while he was in quarantine.

Video footage epitomizes how this tragedy escalated and affected people across the world, with a focus on Italy, China and the United States. Moving images include Pope Francis' prayer in the deserted square; coffins in the mass grave on New York City's Hart Island; a nurse collapsing on her computer keyboard; the procession of military trucks through Bergamo loaded with dead bodies; and many others. And then - a light of hope.

A baby is born to a recovered patient who leaves the hospital to the applause of nurses, and tricolor arrows crisscross the sky like musical notes on the score of this hymn which is dedicated to frontline heroes.

"Generously lending her voice to this project is my friend Teura, an Italian singer," Ciampi says. "Teura is an artist and single mother of two young daughters living in the Italian countryside province of Ostia. She supplements her income as an artist and supports her family by operating a small cafe which was closed because of the pandemic. She represents the many single mothers in Italy currently trying to overcome the insecurity of supporting a family while not able to make a living."

Therapeutic Music Video Reduces Stress of Coronavirus Lockdown

MADISON, Wis. -- The International Forgiveness Institute (IFI) announced today that University of Wisconsin-Madison psychologist Robert Enright, Ph.D., has teamed up with acclaimed songwriter-performer Sam Ness to produce a "therapeutic music-discussion video" for adults who are struggling with the anguish created by the coronavirus lockdown.

Called "Forgiveness," the hour-long video incorporates original compositions written and performed by Ness with related summary discussion bites on the virtue of forgiveness to create what Enright calls "forgiveness therapy through music" or simply "music of the heart." The complete production is available at no cost on YouTube and on the IFI website.

"Every person in the world is dealing with some form of pain or toxic anger from being hurt in the past," Enright said in explaining why he and Ness produced the video. "The coronavirus lockdown has a tendency to amplify those internal feelings and cause additional stress so this is the ideal time to practice forgiveness by being good to yourself (self-forgiveness) and good to others."

The Forgiveness video includes a rolling discussion between Enright, co-founder of the International Forgiveness Institute, and Ness that summarizes the four phases of the patented Enright Forgiveness Process Model that has become the standard for forgiveness and forgiveness therapy around the world.

"Sam has added high artistry to the language of forgiveness with his voice and his guitar," Enright says. "Instead of reading a book to learn how to forgive, Sam's songs provide forgiveness therapy through music."

With the coronavirus pandemic shutting down most television and movie productions for now, would-be viewers of those non-existent productions are looking for something new to watch as they shelter in place, according to Enright. "This video is just what they need-emotional self-improvement."

In addition to the song "Forgiveness," Ness performs two other original compositions on the video: "Storm Inside of Me" (a ballad about self-forgiveness) and "I've Come for Grace" (a song he wrote about life's trials while he was undertaking a 96-mile winter hike through the Highlands of Scotland).

The 22-year-old Ness, a native of Sauk City, Wisconsin, began his song-writing career at age 15 and performed in show choir musicals throughout his high school years earning him scores of awards including two Wisconsin Tommy Awards for Outstanding Lead Performer and more than a handful of Outstanding Male Soloist Awards.

After high school, Ness passed up scholarship offers to study theater from half-a-dozen prestigious universities and music conservatories. Instead, he hitch-hiked and hopped busses for nearly a year across Scotland, England, France, Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland while learning the fine art of "busking" (street performing).

The following year, Ness busked across much of New Zealand before signing on for a 23-show tour across Thailand and Cambodia. Since returning to Wisconsin, he finished writing and recording an album, "Lullabies & Faerie Tales." He was nominated for several Madison-area music awards and won the Male Vocalist of the Year Award in 2019. Most of his music is available on his website: http://www.samness.us/.

Ness will be traveling throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota this summer (COVID-19 permitting) as part of a solo musical tour featuring performances in 19 separate venues including resorts, lounges, wineries and brewpubs.

That tour has been arranged and scheduled by Jonathan Little Productions, a talent agency owned by Jonathan Little-a life-long radio broadcaster and promoter of local artists. Little also helped arrange and produce the "Forgiveness" video. He received the Madison Area Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007 and was inducted into the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2008.

"As this new video demonstrates, forgiveness is a paradox in which people are kind to those who were unkind to them," according to Enright. "That's something we can all benefit from in this time of coronavirus lockdown. Forgiveness has the power you can use to free yourself from past hurts so you can live a better life."

About Robert Enright and the International Forgiveness Institute:

Robert Enright is a licensed psychologist and professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison who pioneered the scientific study of forgiveness. The university recently named him the Aristotelian Professor in Forgiveness Science. Time magazine has called him "the forgiveness trailblazer" and The Christian Science Monitor labeled him "the father of forgiveness research."

Twenty-five years ago, Enright co-founded the not-for-profit International Forgiveness Institute which has become the world's largest online repository of forgiveness information. The Forgiveness Education Curriculum Guides he developed for children in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade are being used in more than 30 countries across the globe including Canada, China, Colombia, Iran, Israel, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia and Rwanda. His grade-school Forgiveness Education Program in Belfast, Northern Ireland, has been in operation for 17 continuous years.

NYC Dancers Step Together in Short Musical Film to Encourage Our Youth to Speak Out!

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- 3 cords & a hook studios announces "Youthful Faces," bringing together some of NYC's best dancers, including: Matt Wiercinski (Broadway: "Anastasia" - Ensemble/Prince Siegfried) and Kathryn Zimmer (Broadway: "Matilda The Musical"), to encourage and become a catalyst for our younger generation to speak up and speak out to illuminate the future they want to see.

The dance, musical short film, shot in the streets of Brooklyn, N.Y. is a collaboration between award-winning choreographer Lane Napper, who is known for his choreography work on the Nickelodeon shows "iCarly" and "Victorious," the socially charged music of Jour Majesty and visionary filmmaker Michael C. Perry, known from his award-winning short musical films, "The Carnival Kid," and "Empty Box of Wine."

The film follows thirteen dancers, each defining their unique style of dance to illuminate their concerns about the future. The performance is to the words and music of Jour Majesty's single, "Youthful Faces."

"The lyrics completely spotlight the anxieties of our youth," says Choreographer Lane Napper. "Glowing shiny faces swiping for affirmation, Page by page in a sea of distraction and the people took no action, and the earth became fractured."

Each performer came up with their own interpretation of the song and lyrics to capture their feeling about our current societal condition.

"I am extremely grateful to participate in 'Youthful Faces' to help inspire today's youth to have hope for the future and to courageously take action to drive positive change," says sixteen-year-old Kathryn Zimmer (Broadway: "Matilda"). "Now is the time to speak up and speak out to illuminate the future we want to see. Youthful Faces, raise your voices - right here, right now."

"Youthful Faces" will premiere at the Cutting Room International Short Film Festival in New York City on October 19, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. The musical short is nominated for "Best Music Video" and "Best Director of a Music Video" by the festival. Following the premiere, Youthful Faces will be available to view by everyone at https://youthfulfacesmovie.com/.

We want to encourage our young people to take hold of their futures and be part of the conversation; whether raising their voices at the ballot box, volunteering, mentoring other young people, or maybe just being kind to other human beings. The actions and decisions of today will follow them for the rest of their lives. They should have a stake in the question; let's give them a voice.

Gallospole Releases The World Premiere Music Video, TARAC WIPPP, Revisiting Too Fat To Fly In The Case of Kevin Smith v. Southwest Air

DREXEL HILL, Pa. -- On September 19, Gallospole will premiere his long-awaited music video, TARAC WIPPP. An acronym for The American Right for Adequate Chair Width In Public & Private Places, TARAC WIPPP is a political allegory performed by Gallospole and his team of puppetized lobbyists advocating for suitable seating on behalf of Americans with metabolic differences, or clinically known as, obese Americans.

Gallospole has been methodically rolling out content to construct the animated, vaudevillian world of TARAC WIPPP, with each element adding a different dimension to the satirical story. The music video serves as the capstone to the project, tying together a cast of characters and highlighting every theme in a visually engaging and zany production. A plethora of circus acts feature famous people like Kevin Smith, the Hollywood movie director, and former Governor Chris Christie being blasted out of cannons and frenetic puppet shows led by the ringmaster himself, Gallospole.

Produced with top shelf animators Prawnimation from London, England and Grammy-nominated mixing engineer David Ivory, the TARAC WIPPP music video takes a compelling, entertaining and sardonic look at the exploitation of conspiracy theories and the perfidious tactics of political weaponization for the predatory purpose of self-enrichment. Gallospole laments, "Too Fat To Fly not only continues to hurt Americans with metabolic differences, but also thin people, like myself, sharing the same seats too."

Gallospole, better known to his wife as Marc A. Gallo, has written, produced and performed in numerous musical acts for over 30 years. Marc has been featured in Performing Songwriter, Forbes, The Philadelphia Inquirer and other media outlets. This is the first music video for Gallospole.

Soul Singer-Songwriter KEA MICHAELS Presents Debut Music Video for Poignant Ballad ‘I Love You’

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- One inspired night in 2015, singer/songwriter Kea Michaels sat down to write a poem like a lullaby entitled "I Love You" for one of her daughters...heartfelt prose enriched with motherly adoration. She later turned that poem into a song thinking about an older daughter that had been battling, since birth, kidney hydronephrosis. KEA thought she was about to lose her to the debilitating disorder.

When the opportunity presented itself, KEA recorded "I Love You" and independently released it to the world on July 28, 2017 as her debut single. Produced by acclaimed musician Dwayne Fulton, Minister of Music at Mount Ararat Baptist Church in KEA's hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, "I Love You" garnered both local and some national internet radio attention plus profound international support the BBC and Radiovolna.

Now, just in time for the winter holidays of 2018, KEA is releasing a deeply touching state-of-the-art music video for her blossoming message song of devotion. Shot in high definition 4K, "I Love You" is a richly detailed lifestyle video about a woman choosing her daughter's love over the weak promises of a non-committal man.

Torn from the pages of her own life and love struggles, the song's video storyline was inspired by the years KEA placed romance on the backburner to laser focus on her daughter's wellness -- shifting from medicinal to holistic treatments, specialists, surgeries, procedures, diets, supplements and lifestyle programs...all the while clinging to hope and faith.

"My purpose is to be an inspiration of hope and change by using real life experiences to relay a message," says KEA. "However not all messages have great endings, because some are good and others may be difficult."

"I Love You" the video was directed and edited by Deon Smalley (Smalley Films) from a treatment written by KEA who also cast the clip plus handled all of the production and costume design (yes, where appropriate, her wardrobe is stellar and stylish). It was important to KEA to have key locations around Pittsburgh serve as backdrops, including Andrew Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall, Airbnb Historic Day House and Dorsey's Records shop.

Most poignantly, KEA and her two real life daughters Auhneyah (6) and Alyssa (16) [playing one child over a 10-year span], solidifying the intimate single parent family portrait of unshakable love between a mother and daughter. It is KEA's hope that song and video touch hearts and minds around the globe.

Kea Michaels ("KEA") is a Soul singer traversing today's Urban Adult Contemporary (UAC) broadcast terrain. Growing up in Pittsburgh a creatives chameleon of poetry and books, as well as a sketch artist, her love for singing blossomed following piano and vocal training from Elayne Kitay as well as at the local Jazz Workshop.

Using her stage name KEA, she has been singing locally since 2009 at events and venues such as the Channel 11 News Holiday Parade, Stars at Riverview Jazz Series, The Birthright of Pittsburgh, Explore East Liberty 2018 Wine Festival, the Harambe Black Arts Festival, the Christine Fréchard Gallery, and the Carnegie Arts Initiative (Jazz On 3rd).

"I Love You" is the debut single/video of KEA from a 6-song EP entitled "Relationships," slated for release in 2019. A second single is being prepared for spring in advance of the EP.

The Ormewoods release new music video that reaches across the aisle, ‘Hope, Pray, Sing’

ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Ormewoods - Claire Pearson and Don McCollister - is an Americana and folk duo, and their new music video, "Hope, Pray, Sing," was released to draw people closer together rather than tear them apart.

"The song was originally written after the 2016 U.S. presidential election," Pearson says. "I'm still a bit disconcerted, but I do know how to 'Hope, Pray and Sing.'"

As chief songwriter, Pearson draws lyric inspiration from her daily journals. The song's opening lyrics, "Hope to stand your ground, pray for angels to sound, sing for peace to be found," set the stage for a musical message with positive vibes.

"The hateful climate and the demonizing of people with different beliefs is our greatest concern," Pearson adds. "This song resonates with people who are sick of these things too."

Pearson says the response to "Hope, Pray, Sing" has been really lovely.

"Friends and family on both sides of the political fence have embraced it; we couldn't ask for anything more," she says.

The duo's music is described by fans as "sexy, folk, pop and country." It's toe-tapping and, at times, profound.

To date, The Ormewoods have produced two albums, "The Bedroom Sessions," which in 2017 spent more than 33 consecutive weeks on the folk charts, and "Not Your Mama's Folk."

About the Ormewoods:

The Ormewoods combine the best of their musical histories. The couple originally met more than 15 years ago, ended up going in different directions, and then fate brought them together again. McCollister is a two-time Grammy-award winning engineer/producer and Pearson is a longtime singer/songwriter and indie radio hit.

When reunited, they quickly built a fan base as they toured to promote their debut album, "The Bedroom Sessions." The album continues to receive strong Americana radio support across the country thanks to their number one single, "HeyBabe," a song about their relationship and how they circled back to each other.

Vocalists, multi-instrumentalists and seasoned performers, The Ormewoods share a passion for live performances and embrace audiences of all ages and fans of all music genres.
