Rejected GOP candidate pushes onwards to the Electoral College, Donald Eugene Lowe Presidential Candidate

SAN ANGELO, Texas -- Donald Eugene Lowe started working on his presidential campaign in 2013. To date, he has spent less than $20,000 and he's not about to give up now. In fact, he says he's just getting started.

"It's possible," Lowe says. "There are many voters who do not like Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump and that puts me in a very good position. According to my calculations, I have a 52 percent chance of winning."

How is this possible? Lowe explains that he is skipping the general election and instead focusing on winning the Electoral College.

"I'm working to beat these candidates at their own game," he says.

The Electoral College consists of 538 electors. A majority of 270 electoral votes is required to elect the President. A state's entitled allotment of electors equals the number of members in its congressional delegation: one for each member in the House of Representatives plus two for senators.

And, there's no constitutional provision or Federal law that requires Electors to vote according to the results of the popular vote in their states. Some states, however, require Electors to cast their votes according to the popular vote.

So, while it's rare for Electors to disregard the popular vote by casting their electoral vote for someone other than their party's candidate, it's not impossible.

After being turned down by the Republican Party for his request for a brokered convention like they used to have for candidates who could not afford a large campaign, Lowe continued to forge ahead.

"While the Republican Party made it impossible for me to run in the general election, they can't eliminate me from the Electoral College," Lowe says. "And, after campaigning at more than 700 locations and traveling more than 400,000 miles, I'm not about to give up now. I might be the only candidate running for the Electoral College and skipping the general election and that's okay. It's America after all - it's a place where dreams come true."

Mid America Mortgage Adds Delinquent FHA-Insured Loans to Whole Loan Purchase Program

ADDISON, Texas -- Mid America Mortgage, Inc. (Mid America) Owner and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bode today announced the firm will begin purchasing delinquent FHA loans as part of its whole loan purchase program.

"Given that most investors of delinquent mortgages are primarily focused on large portfolio opportunities, there is a need to provide a solution for individual or smaller groups of loans," Bode said. "By adding delinquent FHA-insured loans to our established purchase program for performing mortgages, Mid America can provide much-needed liquidity to mortgage originators, as well as servicers."

To be eligible for purchase, loans must have an active mortgage insurance certificate, and the original terms of the note must remain unmodified. Sellers have the option to allow Mid America to fund repurchases directly with a seller's investor. Adding delinquent FHA loans compliments Mid America's existing purchase program, which includes "just miss" insured or guaranteed FHA, USDA, and VA loans, as well as conventional, conforming loans with minor compliance issues, such as TRID errors.

"Mid America's program will bring particular value to independent mortgage companies and small-to-mid-sized financial institutions that need to quickly sell delinquent FHA loans repurchased from other investors or loans with early payment defaults," said Michael Lima, managing director of trading for Mid America. "For servicers, loans bought out of Ginnie Mae securities would also be eligible for purchase and provide a reliable outlet and reduce servicing expense."

"From a customer service perspective, sellers can be confident that loans will be transferred to a reputable loan servicer with access to an array of loss mitigation options," Lima added.

Sellers requesting a bid can contact Mid America directly at tradedesk@midamericamortgage.com or through their existing broker relationship.

Dermatology Laser Center & Spa Certified as Tatt2Away Studio Center

SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Dr. Ana Rodriguez, at Dermatology Laser Center & Spa, has developed a distinctive philosophy for offering exceptional dermatological care, fusing aesthetics and medicine. That's exactly why Tatt2Away (tatt2away.com), from Rejuvatek Medical, was the perfect choice for offering effective, natural tattoo removal.

Tatt2Away is a revolutionary non-laser tattoo removal treatment that actually does what it says - removes ALL tattoo ink, regardless of color, from the skin without the discomfort, cost, and risk associated with other methods.

Unlike laser, which actually breaks up tattoo pigment that is then absorbed by the body, Tatt2Away(R) utilized TERPSOL(R), a solution naturally occurring in carbohydrates, which binds and breaks down the ink pigments bringing them up and out of the body.

"We already had a laser that removes tattoos, but it takes multiple treatments, and there's no way of guaranteeing how many may be required. There are specific colors that the lasers do not completely remove, so there's usually some residual left in the skin. Particularly, blues, oranges, and greens are the most resistant colors," Dr. Rodriguez says. "The Tatt2Away system completely disregards the color and completely pulls out the pigment."

Whether a person's goal is to completely delete their unwanted tattoo or simply to remove specific portions to better accommodate a cover-up, Tatt2Away offers an effective treatment option.

As a Tatt2Away Studio Center, the technicians at Dermatology Laser Center & Spa are specially trained in this revolutionary tattoo removal technique.

"What has impressed me the most," comments Cosmetic Technician Amanda Garcia, "is to know that Tatt2Away takes fewer treatments with minimal discomfort. The aftercare that's involved is very simple, and it heals very nicely.

"It's the newest innovation for Tattoo removal."

Mid America Mortgage to Purchase eNotes through Its Correspondent Channel

ADDISON, Texas -- Mid America Mortgage, Inc. (Mid America) Owner and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bode today announced it will purchase eNotes for loans closed electronically from approved sellers through its correspondent lending channel.

"After implementing eClosings and eNotes in our retail channel, we immediately saw their potential to improve liquidity for smaller market players, especially brokers seeking to transition into mortgage banking, and we wanted to incentivize the market to adopt eClosing and eNotes by providing a secondary market channel for these types of loans," Bode said. "By utilizing eClosings and eNotes, lenders can decrease turntimes on their warehouse line to 48 hours or less, which, in turn, reduces the amount of per-loan interest and fees they are charged by the warehouse bank."

One of the traditional barriers to eClosing has been a perceived lack of acceptance from investors and warehouse banks. To counter this, Mid America has established relationships with several eWarehouse bank providers, including FirstFunding and Merchants Bank of Indiana, to give participating lenders added confidence that eClosed loans will be purchasable.

"We are excited about the marketplace enhancements made possible via a well-planned eNote strategy, said Jim Dunkerley, founder and president of FirstFunding. "Mid America is dedicated to the development of strong eNote standards for itself and its correspondent lenders."

While participating lenders can utilize any eClosing/eNote vendor, Mid America's list of preferred vendors include:

* Digital Delivery eSign
* DocMagic
* International Document Services, Inc. (IDS)
* Pavaso

Loans must be in an approved/eligible status to be eligible for eClose/eNote purchase with Mid America. Prior to close, loans must be submitted to Mid America for credit and compliance approval in order to have the purchase wire completed within 24 to 48 hours of the scheduled closing. Any loans closed prior to Mid America review will go through the normal Correspondent review process.

For more information, contact Mid America's Director of Correspondent Lending Kara Lamphere at 214-261-3292 or kara.lamphere@midamericamortgage.com.

Mid America Mortgage Executes Its First eClosing, eNote

ADDISON, Texas -- Mid America Mortgage, Inc. (Mid America) Owner and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bode today announced the firm has completed its first eClosing and eNote through its retail origination channel. Mid America intends to expand eClosing to all of its retail business, executing eNotes and utilizing electronic documents where allowed by local jurisdiction.

"Mid America's vision for its future is to conduct eClosings with eNotes for all loans across all origination channels," Bode said. "Furthermore, this strategy aligns Mid America with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's initiatives, as the CFPB has signaled its position that eClosing should be an option for all borrowers."

In September 2015, Mid America announced it would leverage technology from DocMagic and eSignSystems, in addition to its proprietary loan origination system Mortgage Machine, as the foundation of its eMortgage platform.

In addition to enabling greater efficiency and cost savings, eClosing also offers demonstrable benefits to Mid America borrowers and its closing agents, according to Bode.

"The biggest benefit we saw from doing our closing electronically was being able to receive and review the full closing package days in advance. Overall, the process was easy and didn't feel too totally different from when we signed the original loan application and first set of disclosures earlier in the process," said Megan Adkins, the borrower for whom Mid America conducted its first eClosing.

"From my perspective, the great thing about eClosing is, after the list of documents to sign is cleared, we know we have a properly executed closing set. Plus, we didn't have to scan or ship the documents after closing, which is a huge time- and money-saver," said Lisa Helmbrecht, branch manager and escrow officer with Homeland Title Company, who was the closing agent for the transaction.

In addition to its warehouse partners, Mid America has also been working closely with MERSCORP Holdings, Inc. and Fannie Mae on its eNote strategy.

"MERSCORP Holdings, Inc. is pleased to see Mid America Mortgage in production with eNotes," said Katie Paolangeli, Vice President, eCommerce & Industry Initiatives with MERSCORP Holdings. "Their integration effort showcases what a lender, vendor and investor can accomplish when everyone is working toward the same goal. This is an important step for them, and for the industry."

"Fannie Mae is proud to support Mid America in its eMortgage efforts," said Jennifer Parker, eMortgage Manager at Fannie Mae. "Mid America is leading the charge for many in the industry by breaking down barriers to entry and showing that eMortgages are possible. Ultimately, we know that eMortgages will benefit borrowers and create many efficiencies in the loan manufacturing process. This is the future, and the future is now!"

Later this summer, Mid America plans to launch eClosing for its mini-correspondent business. Eligible loan programs (*note 1) will include:

* Conventional loans
* FHA loans
* VA loans
* Section 184 (Native American) loans.

"Historically, warehouse lenders have been the less than enthusiastic about eWarehousing, but the tide seems to be turning," Bode said. "Several banks have expressed their desire to participate in eWarehousing. Once we get the program up and running, our goal is to purchase loans closed electronically from participating lenders' warehouse lines within two business days of funding."

For information on the Mid America eClosing Correspondent program, contact Chris Hartman at Christopher.Hartman@midamericamortgage.com or your current Account Executive.

Libertarian Railroad Commission Candidate Mark Miller Wants Voters to Declare Independence from Two-Party Rule

AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas Libertarian Candidate Dr. Mark Miller urges voters to declare independence from two-party rule. With Govs. Gary Johnson and Bill Weld representing the Libertarian Party at the top of the ballot this year, the next highest contest in Texas will be the statewide election of Texas Railroad Commission, for which Miller is running.

"The majority of Americans are not happy with the Presidential candidates put forward by the Republican and Democratic parties," notes Miller. "Americans deserve more than two choices. This year is an opportune moment for Americans to see the value of more parties and more candidates. Indeed, voters have the power to end two-party rule."

Miller points to a growing core of voters in both the Republican and Democrat parties who are fed up with the continued corruption and manipulation by elitist major party candidates who seem to have forgotten their constituencies are comprised of American citizens rather than special interests and lobbyists. Libertarian Presidential candidate Gov. Gary Johnson is often quoted as saying that most voters are Libertarian, they just don't know it.

"If a voter is frustrated by the two presumptive nominees, tired of government imposing on their privacy, and disgusted by corruption, special interest influence, and big government, the Libertarian platform offers a decisively different and liberating alternative," says Miller.

The Libertarian Party promotes personal responsibility and limited government. Libertarians advocate that the government's principal function is to protect individual liberties as outlined in the U.S. Constitution and otherwise not meddle in the lives of citizens.

"This Independence Day I wish to remind every Texan that they own their own vote - no one else does. Texans are fiercely and proudly independent, always have been and always will be. They need to remember that independent spirit when they vote. It is time to stand up against two-party politics which have failed us all." says Miller. "We deserve better and more choices than what the two old parties have offered. With a little investigation, I believe a strong surge of Texans and Americans will discover that they can proudly and confidently vote Libertarian and usher in the change they wish to see."

Texans can join in the Miller campaign's efforts to end two-party rule by visiting http://endtwopartyrule.com/.

About Mark Miller:

Dr. Mark A. Miller, PE, is a native-born and long-time resident of Texas and is the Libertarian Party's 2016 nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner. Dr. Miller began his career in the oil and gas industry as a petroleum engineer. Later, he earned a PhD from Stanford University and taught petroleum engineering at the University of Texas at Austin for 18 years. After leaving UT, Dr. Miller established a worldwide petroleum engineering consulting practice which provided software to the oil and gas industry. Dr. Miller was the Libertarian Party's 2014 nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner. More information: http://www.miller4tx.com/.

The South Austin Moonlighters to Release Their Brand New Studio Album ‘Ghost Of A Small Town’ on July 12, 2016

AUSTIN, Texas -- On July 12 The South Austin Moonlighters will be releasing "Ghost of a Small Town," which features 13 brand new songs including their new single "You, Love and Me." The album will be available on iTunes, on their website (www.southaustinmoonlighters.com), on Amazon, CD Baby, at the shows and at Waterloo Records and discriminating independent record stores everywhere!

If you've seen more than a handful of live bands that tour Texas, there's a pretty good chance you've already seen most, if not all, of the musicians who make up the South Austin Moonlighters. Lonnie Trevino, Jr, Phil Bass, Chris Beall and Phil Hurley: these guys have earned their place among the elite of Austin's burgeoning music scene and have played key roles in bands like Fastball, Monte Montgomery, The Whiskey Sisters, Stonehoney, Jimmy LaFave, to name just a few on a long, long list.

"I called my dear friend and favorite drummer Phil Bass," says Lonnie Trevino, bass player and vocalist of the band. "We toured together while with Monte Montgomery in 2001, and Phil loved the idea and jumped on board before I could finish explaining what we were planning to do. From the moment we hit the first note it was obvious that something special was happening."

"It was one of those things where you're with your friends and you say, 'Someday we'll all get together and just play what we love,' says Phil Hurley, lead guitarist and vocalist. "And then Lonnie had the audacity to actually book some gigs!"

Who plays what? Lonnie Trevino, Jr plays bass, Phil Hurley and Chris Beall share lead and rhythm guitar duties, and Phil Bass plays drums. You can hear that this band is comprised of four legitimate singers on each and every song on this new album - each member has a turn at singing lead vocals. More impressively, perhaps, is that all four band members write.

Precise vocal harmonies are an important part of the Moonlighter's signature sound, alongside what Matt Blackett of Guitar Player Magazine called "gritty blues, nasty funk, R&B, pop, rock," and Andrew Conroy of Austin's KUTX described as "a band that blends blues, Americana, soul, rock, and country, who can flip the switch from slow melodic country to gravelly rocking blues without a hitch."

Even the genesis of this new record is unusual - the band recorded at Chris Beall's at-home studio, and self-produced the effort. "Initially we were thinking of just using my studio a few times to get some ideas down, but it all started sounding really good so we just kept coming back and putting down more songs," says Chris Beall, of this somewhat unorthodox approach.

"I'm really into creating a vibe - a distinctive emotional quality or atmosphere that is sensed or experienced by the listener," says Phil Bass. "That style of Production appeals to me, and I know these guys feel the same, because it's coming through in our music."

The South Austin Moonlighters are regulars in most of the finer honky-tonks, listening rooms and venues throughout Texas, and when the new record is released in July they will be stepping up their already aggressive tour plans. Look for their first European tour coming in early 2017. Look for them at a discriminating venue or music festival near you soon.
