The Remote “Long Ranger” Xtender(tm) transmitter is installed in place of one AAA or AA battery inside a user’s remote control … then simply point or attach the included receiver to the components they wish to control. The included AA-size adapter sleeve fits over the AAA-size transmitter, works in almost any remote control that uses AA or AAA batteries, and effectively replaces one of the 1.5 Volt AA or AAA batteries in order to power the remote control and perform the RF transmitter function; additional transmitters can be purchased separately.
