As a result of this partnership, the Valid Technologies VSSA® Strong User Authentication solution will include support for SecuGen biometric matching technologies and the SecuGen Hamster family of biometric fingerprint readers.

VSSA supports applications and logons on multiple enterprise platforms, including i/OS, Linux, and Windows. With VSSA, IBM customers can easily and securely supplement or even replace password-based domain logons with “touch-of-a-finger” biometric user authentication. VSSA is Ready for Tivoli and Ready for IBM SOA today.

SecuGen’s Hamster Plus™ and Hamster IV™ fingerprint readers are widely recognized as among the most accurate and robust fingerprint capture devices available anywhere.
