The expansion into couture is a natural step for In White, which has had an enthusiastic response to its contemporary gown collection since opening its Lancaster boutique early in 2010.
“We wanted to offer area brides something very special that’s hard to find outside of New York City,” says Shari Kendall, owner of In White. “The beauty of each couture gown is truly breathtaking.”
Couture gowns are known for their unsurpassed design, fine fabrics, and exquisite detailing.
In White’s couture salon will offer fine gowns created by international designers Birnbaum & Bullock, Lusan Mandongus, Sassi Holford, and Lea-Ann Belter in a variety of fully customizable styles starting at $2,500. Since the gowns are made to fit each bride, there normally are no additional fees for alterations.
The new salon is located a few storefronts from In White’s existing location in Lancaster’s Shoppes at College Row. It offers private appointments only, except for “Walk In Wednesdays,” which let prospective customers see and feel the gowns and discuss options before deciding to make an appointment to try them on.
