New Commercial-Grade Milk and Sugar Dispenser Provides 3 Varieties of Milk, 3 Varieties of Sweeteners with Touch of a Button

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Inventions Oasis is seeking a joint venture partner to help bring to market a new patent-pending product - the Sav-A-Lot(TM) - a commercial-grade, milk and sugar dispenser designed for coffee shops and fast food restaurants.

How does Sav-A-Lot work? It dispenses whole, skim or half and half through a one-touch button or by lifting a feather-touch lever. Three types of sweeteners (regular, Splenda(R) and Equal(R)) are dispensed the same way.

This attractive stainless steel, hygienic refrigerated device uses NASA-developed technology - solid state cooling chips - to keep the milk cool. The machine is 100 percent hygienic because the milk never touches any part of the dispenser. Store bought milk containers and supplied straws are disposed. After that the next containers are easily loaded and there is never a need to fill and clean the flasks.

When it comes to sugar, Shaam Sundhar, the inventor behind the product and founder of Inventions Oasis, poses that a pound of loose sugar costs about $2, but a pound of packaged sugar costs a whopping $15. That's a huge difference. In addition, people often grab a handful of packets for their personal use at a later date. Sav-A-Lot dispenses loose sugar one teaspoon at a time.

So, when you factor in the labor cost involved for filling the flasks with milk and cleaning them combined with the sugar savings, the financial savings becomes significant. And, customers will appreciate the added one-touch convenience too. Sundhar says that the break-even point for the business is fewer than six and a half months when the Sav-A-Lot is purchased at MSRP.

The product is manufactured in Flemington, N.J. at a cost less than one-third of MSRP, so the profit margin is impressive.

Sundhar believes that this new product has the potential to shake up the coffee world.

The Sioux City Hotel & Conference Center is blocks away from the new $118.5 million Hard Rock Casino, scheduled to break ground in July 2013 and open in September 2014. The casino complex plans to offer round-the-clock action on its 800 slots and 32 tables and will amplify Sioux City's nightlife with its 800-seat concert hall and 3,000-person outdoor venue. The Hard Rock Casino is expected to generate in excess of $100 million of revenue in its first year of operation and attract over one million annual visitors in conjunction with the downtown's existing entertainment venues.

EPIC, POG, Sedgwick Claims Management Services and Probe Information Services recently obtained a Felony Criminal Complaint resulting in the arrest of a McDonald's employee.

Based on surveillance evidence obtained by Probe, the employee will be prosecuted for five felony counts of fraud. The five felony counts of fraud are related to misrepresentations regarding the nature and extent of an alleged on the job injury while employed at a McDonald restaurant participating in EPIC's POG program.

James Abbate, POG President commented, "The POG program has zero tolerance for fraud. We are pleased to announce this arrest and hope for a conviction. We will continue to aggressively identify and pursue prosecution of any form of fraud on behalf of our POG members."

It all started 50 years ago when Pappy Bosley got laid off from his job at the Fleischman Distillery. It was this event that caused him and his wife, Catherine, to reexamine their opportunities. So, they sold their house and used the equity to buy the Moonlite - at the time, a 30-seat roadside stand. Over the next several decades, it grew into a barbecue legacy.

"I am proud to be part of this legacy and overwhelmed by our customers' loyalty. When we first started talking about a celebratory event we thought we might muster up 500 people or so, but as customers spread the word, we realized we could have thousands," Patrick Bosley, manager of the Moonlite Bar-B-Q Inn and also the youngest grandson of Pappy and Catherine, says. "Well, we knew we would need help and we got it. More than 22 organizations and people have come together to help make this anniversary an event to remember."
