LOS ANGELES, Calif. /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Every year thousands of new hopefuls flood the modeling and talent industries hoping to make their mark. Now, with the help of a new partnership between Internet and television media producer MyDateLive, Inc. and model Sabrina Sikora and Sikora Productions, they have a place to start.

These two powerful forces have joined together to create and launch 360Flair.com, a new web community and resource center geared specifically toward the professional model.

"Most models don't treat their careers like a business," says Laurie Sikora, manager and primary partner in Sikora Productions, and co-founder of 360Flair.com. Laurie is recognized throughout the industry as an authority on the process of successfully managing fledgling modeling careers.

Sabrina Sikora agrees with her mother, "Most models don't fully realize the potential with which they could self-promote." Sabrina has appeared on dozens of national magazine covers and print ads, been a winner or finalist in several model search competitions, including the 1999 TEEN Magazine/Maybelline Great Model Search, and Elite Model Look 2000 competition, and appeared on a gamut of television shows, most recently as a contestant on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search airing on NBC.

MyDateLive, Inc. President Tony Ferraro sees this as a stepping-stone for those wanting to get a foothold in a difficult industry. "We're taking the digital legwork out of it for our clients, and adding value further by giving them resources they might not have access to otherwise. We want to take people from start-up to stardom."

MyDateLive, Inc. has been operating since 2002, and is the brainchild of Ferraro and his co-founders, Dave Abbitt and Greg Pinto. The company is represented by the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles, and seeks to further the relationship between conventional media and the Internet.

Accessibility and education, the desire to help individuals make a business out of the art of being beautiful, these are the goals of 360Flair.com. Though live now, the site officially launches in early February of 2005.

Tribes Share Wisdom To Prevent Natural Disasters

ASPEN, CO /Send2Press Newswire/ -- As a result of a heart-melting gift to her friends, of an Indian children's dance to launch a wiser New Year, Denise Rich, Aspen's Grammy award-winning philanthropist, is helping the tribes get their message out to the mainstream on how to heal the Earth and prevent natural disasters, in the wake of the devastating Tsunami. NBC Today Show Host, Katie Couric, and Wendy Whitworth, executive producer of the Larry King Show, and their children were among the guests uplifted by Denver's 7 Falls Dancers. The star was two year old Penelope Rodriquez, formerly known as "Sometimes She Dances, Sometimes She Doesn't," fresh from a command performance for the Lieutenant Governors of America.

The co-hosts/producers, UN Eco winner, Joanie Klar, and Olympic skier Suzy Chaffee, co-chair of Native Voices Foundation (NVF), then shared about the snow and rain miracles..., which an unprecedented partnership between the ski areas and tribes has been experiencing in the West, according to NVF.

The tots, along with their enlightening storyteller, Grandma Carrie Howell and mom Michelle (Pawnee), were treated like heroes, having participated with the Utes in the snowdance ceremony at Denver's SnowSports Expo in November. "Looks like Creator listens intently to the little ones," said Chaffee, in praising them and Creator for helping make Aspen and other Colorado holiday skiers so happy with economic lifting early snow for the last two years. That inspired over 100 U.S. ski areas to want to welcome their local tribes back to share $2 million worth of ski and snowboard opportunities this season, and priceless in sustainable wisdom, snow and rain blessings... Meanwhile Wyoming is considering spending $8.5 million on toxic cloud seeding, even though scientists at the National Academy of Sciences in 2003, concluded there is no scientific evidence that it works. A January 2004 Skiing Magazine article said that cloud seed was "more prayer-based than science," and called NVF tribal way a positive alternative.

Rich had sponsored NVF's events at the Salt Lake Olympics that helped give US Tribal leaders a mainstream voice. Three years later, the skiers and "snow farmers" (ski resorts) are now leading America and the world in opening their hearts and minds to the Indigenous way of finding natural solutions to weather, as well as prevention of natural disasters. The wake up call was inspired by the early snow phenomena that this year spread from the Rockies, to Mammoth, New Mexico, Lake Tahoe and Southern California, related to NVF's tribal snow ceremonies at the Denver, Seattle, Sacramento, and LA ski shows, plus independent ceremonies.

Chaffee and Klar, President of Integrative Sustainable Solutions, shared with the VIP's about November's miracle in Southern California - the Big Bear Medicine Wheel Ceremony, where 200 Red, White, Black and Yellow People prayed at the sacred points surrounding the San Bernardino Mountains, led by Eastern Shoshone Bennie E. LeBeau of Wyoming. It gave skiers the best snow in 35 years, and prompted NBC weatherman Fritz Coleman to publicly thank the tribes. And by reconnecting Mother Earth's energy (like acupressure) points, called "ley lines," they are helping restore the springs of their fire-devastated forests. Said Jay Leno of the likely related seven days of downpour this week, "This rain is going to delay brushfire season!"

LeBeau, whose Indian name is Blue Thunder, also said that "the earthquake that caused the Tsunami, reset Earth's ley lines to be on a more true North and South axis. On the positive side, this reharmonizing of how the sacred sites connect, affects the weather, bringing moisture to help repair and restore Mother Earth's hurting environments. The trees, animals, plants, and other life forms are getting powerful blessings, though sometimes at the expense or inconvenience of Man, especially in drought ridden areas in the America's that are getting major amounts of rain and snow. The traditional Elder was also involved in helping prevent a volcanic eruption in the Grand Tetons on May 8, 2004, called the Magnificent 19 + 1 = 20 Medicine Wheel Ceremony, which also helped end droughts in many of the encompassing states. (http://www.teton-rainbows.com/) Next he has been guided "to help educate cultures about the ceremonies at sacred sites that can reweave the fault lines of California," if he can get support.

"We are working on putting together an emergency meeting between ski areas leaders and eco advisors to Governor Schwarzenegger, with LeBeau and Southern Ute Eddie Box Jr., who led the most significant weather ceremonies," said Chaffee. "Given the lives lost by the Tsunami, we must explore our natural, cost-effective options," said Klar, who hopes to film these discussions in a documentary for the public with her award winning filmmaker husband David Bruce, a Cherokee. Couric, Whitworth, and a producer of the Bill Maher Show are among media movers and shakers interested in helping get this vital message out.

Meanwhile to fulfill the wishes of the little snow dancers and help inspire more snow, the guests of Denise and T-Lazy 7 Ranch, teamed up with Aspen SkiCo, Swiss Olympian Stefan Kaelin and the St Regis on rental equipment, and Klar and Chaffee for the coaching, to give the fancy footers a wonderful ski experience the next day. "Thank you Denise and Aspen," chimed the smiling Penelope, Mikah and Lexi to the press.

‘Binladin: Where is Your Support for Your Muslim Brothers Now?’ Encourages Californian owning former Binladin Family Website

Author: Shrimpo LLC
Dateline: Thu, 06 Jan 2005

freeNewsArticles Story Summary: “LOS ANGELES, Calif. /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Christopher Curry, Technology Consultant for Shrimpo LLC, has challenged Osama Binladin and the Binladin family to provide aid for those thousands affected by the tsunami disasters in South-East Asia.”

A R T I C L E:

LOS ANGELES, Calif. /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Christopher Curry, Technology Consultant for Shrimpo LLC, has challenged Osama Binladin and the Binladin family to provide aid for those thousands affected by the tsunami disasters in South-East Asia.

A website formerly owned by the Binladin family.

*Photo Caption:
A website formerly owned by the Binladin family, saudi-binladin-group.com now displays proclamation for Binladin support.

The proclamation for Binladin support is announced publicly on the website, saudi-binladin-group.com, a website formerly owned by the Binladin family which coincidentally expired on September 11, 2001. It remains a controversy whether or not the website expiration served as a trigger to the disastrous events which occurred on 9-11.

Curry developed a software mechanism to take control of Osama Binladin family's official website, whose domain registration expired simultaneously with the tragic events of September 11, 2001. His experiences will be included in an upcoming documentary 'Bin Laden: A Dynasty of Terror,' Joel Soler's follow up film to his successful 'Uncle Saddam.'

"Where is Your Support for Your Muslim Brothers Now?" is largely displayed on the former site of Osama Binladin's family empire. To date, there has been no public announcement from Osama Binladin or Al Qaeda regarding support to any of the disaster efforts. The website makes mention of the support offered by Europe, North America and Australia.

"It is fascinating to me and many others about the hypocrisy of a group, such as that of Binladin, which claims to support the aid of humanity and mankind through acts of God or Allah, yet do nothing to offer support to those very victims who may follow his doctrine. His acts of God are nothing but terrorism and hate, which are not acts of Allah," remarks Curry.

"There is no compassion for those he claims to protect; Indonesia, which harbors many Muslim extremists and Al-Qaeda are now ironically benefited by the generosity of the West and not of that of Binladin and his followers. I challenge the rich and very deep pockets of Binladin, family and his followers to put their money where their mouths are and provide support to the thousands of homeless and grieving people in Southeast Asia."

Christopher Curry and Shrimpo LLC are a consultancy group focused on streamlining business communications between the human interface and technology.

The Greatest Thing to Happen to the Remote Control Since Infrared!

Author: Next Generation Home Products, Inc.

freeNewsArticles Story Summary: “LAS VEGAS, NV - CES /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Next Generation Home Products, Inc. LAS VEGAS, NV - CES /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Next Generation Home Products, Inc. (www.nghp.net), Port Richey/Tampa, Florida, announces availability of the newest version of their award-winning Remote "Long Ranger" Xtender(tm) at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

*Photo Caption:
Long Ranger Xtender(tm) from Next Generation Home Products, Inc. debuts at CES.

The patented AAA-battery size transmitter resembling a silver bullet is described by Next Generation Home Product's President Bob Dolatowski as "...the greatest thing to happen to the remote control since infrared!"

The Remote "Long Ranger" Xtender(tm) transmitter is installed in place of one AAA or AA battery inside a user's remote control ... then simply point or attach the included receiver to the components they wish to control. The included AA-size adapter sleeve fits over the AAA-size transmitter, works in almost any remote control that uses AA or AAA batteries, and effectively replaces one of the 1.5 Volt AA or AAA batteries in order to power the remote control and perform the RF transmitter function; additional transmitters can be purchased separately.

Like magic ... the user has upgraded their existing remote control to the latest-generation RF remote control giving them room-to-room control up to 150 feet or more from the receiver based at their components -- perfect for controlling satellite, cable, DVD, TIVO, VCR etc. and multi-room stereo speakers from other rooms inside or outside, upstairs or downstairs since no line-of-sight is required.

Ideal for home theaters, the receiver can be hidden out of sight inside entertainment centers; and unlike older remote control extenders, the user doesn't have to attach anything to the front of their remote control nor point their remote at a particular stand-alone transmitter within a room either.

The Remote "Long Ranger" Xtender(tm) with a suggested retail price of $59.95 operates using (2) included long-life #393 button batteries -- a second model uses a rechargeable battery with the charger built into the receiver. In 2003 the AA-size Remote "Long Ranger" Xtender(tm) received the prestigious Innovations Award given by the International Consumer Electronics Show in the accessories category.

Next Generation Home Products, Inc. will be exhibiting the Remote "Long Ranger" Xtender(tm) at the Las Vegas 2005 Consumer Electronics Show, at South Hall Booth #21702 inside the Next Generation Home Products Pavilion.

A R T I C L E:

DETROIT, MI /Send2Press Newswire/ -- SYNC Technologies, Inc. declares 2004 a successful year with the completion of the new Customer Billing and Management System (CBMS). The system was cutover without incident for the nation's third largest water utility, the Detroit Water & Sewerage Department (DWSD). The project not only replaced an antiquated legacy system, but also SYNC completed the implementation on schedule and on budget. DWSD had so much confidence in the SYNC Project Team that they launched the system on the busiest day of the month in 2004.

The new system enhances the customer service billing and related processes, making them much more efficient and cost-effective. The list of improvements over the former system is impressive; the new billing system improves all phases of customer service and contact management including a much easier to read bill for DWSD's customers. Along with CBMS, SYNC Technologies is in the midst of the IVR (interactive voice recognition) installation in DSWD customer service call center. This new call center component will allow customers to call, and using self-service options, receive information concerning their accounts via telephone.

"The Board of Water Commissioners is exceptionally pleased with the work provided by SYNC Technologies in implementing our billing system," said Mary Blackmon, President, Board of Commissioners. "The system has made it much easier for our customers to understand their bill, and has been the answer for what the customers have asked for over a decade now." Sync also implemented an ACD (automated call distribution) system that assisted in monitoring the routing and call handling for the customer service center.

Founded in 1988, SYNC Technologies is a customer-driven provider of highly professional services in the Information Technology field. SYNC is Detroit-based, family/minority-owned business enterprise that helps its clients define and implement the use of cutting-edge, high-quality and cost-effective solutions for their Information Technology needs. "We were asked by the Detroit Water & Sewerage Department to use advanced object oriented modeling techniques for this project," said SYNC President Donna Stallings, "It's the first time the City of Detroit has ever used object oriented modeling and as we move forward with the opening of our new office in Atlanta, we look forward to bringing innovative concepts such as this to a broader customer base." SYNC technologies served as the prime contractor and project manager for this integration. The Customer Billing and Management System serves as a model for major metropolitan cities.

"SYNC did an outstanding job of project managing and implementing the new CBMS system. Sync was attentive to our needs, focused and driven in finding solutions to better bridge our overall operations," expressed Gary Watkins, DWSD Manager of Commercial Operations.

"We wanted a system that offered improved billing and the increased capability to collect revenue from delinquent customers," comments James George, Assistant Director, DSWD.

In return, SYNC, after an exhaustive evaluation process recommended sub contractor Systems & Software based out of Vermont, primarily for the applicability of their enQuesta Customer information system (CIS) to DWSD requirements and SYNC's methodology. But the system is also highly regarded for its flexibility to accommodate unpredictable future requirements.

"SYNC did a great job," said Victor Mercado, Director, DWSD. "The system is working. They brought it in on time and I'm happy. Their company is attentive, dedicated and responsive."

For the past 15 years, SYNC Technologies client list has grown to include the City of Detroit, Detroit Public Schools, and several nationally renowned engineering firms, as well as smaller clients such as local non-profit organizations and churches. "We treat each project and client with the highest degree of professionalism and guarantee our work" says Cliff Stallings, Vice-President and CBMS Project Manager of SYNC, "It gives us immense pleasure to declare the Customer Billing and Management System a complete success."

SUMMIT, NJ /Send2Press Newswire/ -- ArtMolds (www.artmolds.com), a New Jersey based manufacturer of art kits, mold-making and casting materials, today announced that it has joined forces with the Association of Lifecasters International (ALI) to co-sponsor the first annual Life Casting Awards for outstanding artistic achievement in the service of humanity.

"This unique award was created to promote public awareness about life casting, which is an ancient art form dating back 3500 years," said Ed McCormick, Founder and Managing Director of Lifecasters International. "But we also want to emphasize the spirit of giving. The Life Casting Awards will be given to artists who have created a meritorious life casting work which has been gifted to a member of the general public. We are as interested in the story behind the gift as we are in the work itself, as this is a contest about using creativity in the service of the world."

Works submitted for the Life Casting Awards will be reviewed by a team of 3 judges, who are experts in life casting and sculpture. This year's judges are Dave Parvin, Roy Butler and Ed McCormick.

The rules for the competition are as follows:

- Entry is limited to ALI Members.

- The artist must create a piece of life casting art as a gift to a member of the general public.

- Weight will be given to any positive press generated by the gift.

- The work must be a meaningful gift. For example, an artist could create a life casting art piece and donate it to an auction to help tsunami victims.

- A photo(s) of the artwork, the artist, and the recipient of the gift, as a 300dpi JPEG format, must be included with the submission, along with a story about the gift. The story must be in English, and must not exceed 250 words.

Awards to Competitors

The winner of the Life Casting Awards will receive $350.00 and a certificate. First runner up will receive $150.00 and a certificate. First- through third-prize winners will also receive a Life Casting Award statue, created especially for the event by internationally renowned artist and sculptor Philip Hitchcock, designer of the L.A. Math-a-Mania(tm) game makes learning math fun for children and adults

TULSA, OK /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Raynece Leader-Thompson was only thirteen when she created the Math-a-Mania(tm) game that makes learning math fun for children and adults. As she accepted invitations to demonstrate the game for school districts across the nation, she saw first-hand the lack of supplies in many of the classrooms. As sales of "Math-a-Mania(tm)" increased, Raynece asked her mother Johnece, president of the games distributor Math Workz, LLC (www.mathworkz.com), to help find a way they could fill this need. The "Teachers' Wish List" is a result of this desire.

A percentage of each quarter's sales is set aside to grant teacher's wishes for their classrooms. By completing a simple form on the Math Workz website, www.mathworkz.com, teachers across the U.S. can enter. An independent panel chooses each quarter's winner and the supplies are shipped to the school.

Johnece says, "We look forward to reading every entry. Some are funny, some heartbreaking, but every one is worthy. As the company grows, the awards will grow and well be able to give back even more."

Now sixteen, Raynece attends public school and travels with her mom to demonstrate the game for organizations, schools and parents. She says, "I love to see the kids' eyes light up when, after playing Math-a-Mania, they suddenly understand that math problem they've been struggling with."

"Math-a-mania helps children relax and have fun without realizing that they are learning," she adds. There are four levels to this game so it allows you to adjust the game to the level of the players. "Playing this game is a perfect way to master basic addition, subtraction and multiplication. You can also incorporate division as well," says Raynece.

The instructions are simple and in both English and Spanish. Raynece cautions players that, "Math-a-Mania can become addictive!"

The "Teachers' Wish List" is open to all U.S. teachers -- not just customers of Math-a-Mania(tm). Teachers interested in Math-a-Mania(tm) demos should contact their Service Centers or School Districts and request a visit from this charming teen.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA and COPENHAGEN, Denmark /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Napatech (www.napatech.com) today announced the immediate availability of the industry's first 8x1 GIGABIT PROGRAMMABLE TRAFFIC ANALYZER NETWORK INTERFACE CARD. The 8x1 Gigabit NT8FT Traffic Analyzer NIC is the most powerful and the only fully programmable traffic analyzer NIC available on the market today, allowing traffic filtering at 8 Gbps. The NT8FT Traffic Analyzer NIC is based on the industry standard PCI-X interface and compliant with most platforms.

"The new Traffic Analyzer NIC enables our OEM-customers to implement fully customized HW-accelerated traffic analyzer solutions very effectively as their existing software and hardware can be fully or partly reused, and made to scale to future demands of end customers," says Thomas Jorgensen, Vice President of Sales at Napatech. "The Traffic Analyzer NIC is already deployed in production networks and proven its worth. The fully programmable platform provides both Napatech and our customers with the ability to rapidly and continuously add features and update the solutions in the field."

The Traffic Analyzer NIC includes features like packet filtering, packet tracing and high precision time stamping all done in HW allowing packet processing at up to 8 Gbps line speeds. Systems with multiple cards will be able to support line speed on all cards and ports. The feature set includes 64 fully programmable filters, Linux driver and programming interface in source code. The 64 filters can be combined with Boolean operations. Another key feature is high precision time stamping.

The NIC is capable of making up to 1 billion filter lookups per second. Because of the flexible and effective filtering, the host application can concentrate on the specialized traffic analysis rather than on filtering and discarding irrelevant traffic.

Availability & Configurations

The Napatech products are immediately available through Napatech for OEM sales only. Pricing information can be obtained directly from Napatech.

The programmable Traffic Analyzer NIC is available in the following hardware configurations:

NT4ET 4-port electrical NIC

NT4FT 4-port optical NIC

NT8ET 8-port electrical NIC

NT8FT 8-port optical NIC

NT4E4FT 4-port electrical and 4-port optical NIC

Traffic Analyzer kit -- A development kit which provides the customer with a fully workable plug-and-play solution and test platform. The development kit contains 1 PC installed with 1 NT4E4FT (4x1G Electrical port + 4x1 G optical port NIC), Linux driver (including source code) and custom application examples plus one extra NT4E4FT Traffic Analyzer NIC.

About Napatech

Founded in 2003, Napatech is focused on programmable Ethernet adapters. The core idea is off-loading real-time traffic and payload analysis applications traditionally implemented in software or proprietary hardware. Napatech expects a huge growth in the demand for intelligent and programmable adapters as Ethernet speeds increase. The current PC architecture limits the amount of bandwidth that can be handled by the PCI bus and CPU/memory. Napatech has marketing and R&D offices in Mountain View, California and Copenhagen, Denmark.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Tekron, Inc. (OTCBB: TKRN) today announced that it will collaborate with Beijing Global Strategy Consulting Co. Ltd ("Beijing Global Strategy") (www.strategy4china.com), a leading business and investing consultancy firm focused on elaborating and implementing strategies for foreign and Chinese companies looking to do business in China. Since 2003, Beijing Global Strategy has provided a wide range of consulting services to Beijing State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. mainly related to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

More than US $12 billion has been allocated for the environmental cleanup in China for the preparation of the 2008 Olympics. The rapid advancement and sophistication of industry has increased the output of harmful toxic waste effluents. As landfills have become more and more scarce while opposition from environmental protection agencies has grown, industry has looked to bioremediation as a viable and often favored approach for the treatment of polluted waters and land. Bioremediation is the scientific process of using biological organisms to address and treat environmental problems such as contaminated soil or groundwater. Advantages of bioremediation are that its natural, cost-effective, non-disruptive, and non-invasive and is usually performed on an on-site basis.

"The 2008 Olympics represents an immense business opportunity for Tekron," said Mr. Luigi Brun, Chief Executive Officer of Tekron, Inc. "Our bioremediation technology represents a safe, economical and effective solution for some of the problems in the People's Republic of China. Partnering with consultants that have years of experience in this market makes sense in order to efficiently move our plan forward."
