Florida Lawyer Advises Home, Business Owners: ‘Do This if You’ve Filed a Hurricane Wilma Claim With Your Insurance Company and They’re Not Treating You Fairly’

Author: Edward Zebersky, Attorney at Law

freeNewsArticles Story Summary: “HOLLYWOOD, FL - Dec. 1 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Longtime South Florida resident, Edward Zebersky, Esq., is giving back to his hurricane-beaten community in the best way he knows how - offering residents free legal advice on the best way to handle their Hurricane Wilma insurance claims.”

A R T I C L E:

HOLLYWOOD, FL (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Longtime South Florida resident, Edward Zebersky, Esq., is giving back to his hurricane-beaten community in the best way he knows how - offering residents free legal advice on the best way to handle their Hurricane Wilma insurance claims.

"Because of the enormous size of this storm, hundreds of thousands of South Floridians were impacted by Wilma - people all the way up in Palm Beach and right down through Miami. Some people lost everything. For Broward County especially, this was worse than Hurricane Andrew," Zebersky said. "Unfortunately, some insurance companies are looking to take advantage of the situation."

Zebersky warns, "This is the time that home and business owners need to be especially vigilant. It's not uncommon for insurance companies to offer you less than what you're entitled to, hoping that you're not aware of your insurance policy limits. Adjusters will come out and lead people to believe that no more can be paid for the damage. Not knowing any better, most home and business owners just take whatever their insurance company offers them. It's a shame. It's wrong. People need to know they can challenge the amount offered, and frequently, get paid much more."

Zebersky, who is the Florida Bar's 2004 recipient of the Professionalism Award, and President-Elect of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, has prepared a Special Report for anyone who has any type of property damage from Hurricane Wilma.

The report is entitled, 12 Things You Should Know When Filing Your Hurricane Wilma Insurance Claim. It is free and will be sent to anyone who asks for it. Additionally, Zebersky will offer a free consultation to anyone who has questions about a hurricane claim that they have already filed, or plan on filing.

To receive a copy of the free report or schedule a free consultation, please call (954) 989-6333.

Additionally, Mr. Zebersky requests the media's assistance in disseminating this free information to all South Florida residents. All media inquiries are welcome.

The Easy Gift Choice Gets Easier Online: Gift Cards and Certificates Research Study

Author: Web Mystery Shoppers International Inc.

freeNewsArticles Story Summary: “EDMONTON, AB - Dec. 1 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Gift cards are becoming a holiday gift of choice, and retailers are finally making it easy to buy them online. A R T I C L E:

EDMONTON, AB (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Gift cards are becoming a holiday gift of choice, and retailers are finally making it easy to buy them online. A study of nine leading websites by Web Mystery Shoppers International Inc. (www.webmysteryshoppers.com) has found big improvements over the past two years for people wanting to buy gift certificates online.

(c) Send2Press"Two years ago you really had to hunt at most sites to find out if and how you could buy a gift certificate," notes company founder and website usability expert, Tema Frank. "But now at every site tested people ranked the experience of shopping for a gift certificate online better than shopping for one in-person."

Even better for retailers, the research found that online gift cards can drive other sales on websites. "Every time we do this study we find that people get distracted and start looking at the merchandise too," said Ms Frank. "Imagine the power of saying to a shopper, 'Now that you've ordered a gift card for your friend, why not get a little something for yourself while you're here?'"

Other key findings:

- People want to be able to choose either electronically delivered gift certificates or mailed ones. Sites such as Sears.com, which only appear to have a mailed card option, register higher levels of user frustration.

- Consumers want to see what the gift certificate or card will look like. Some sites, like Wal-Mart even go so far as letting people chose their own card design, which makes the card giving experience more personal.

CDUniverse.com, Cooking.com, Crutchfield.com, Eddiebauer.com, GiftCertificates.com, Home Depot, Land's End, Sears and Wal-Mart websites were tested by 284 Web Mystery Shoppers(r) between October 28 and November 3.

A free executive summary of the research is available at www.webmysteryshoppers.com.

Change the Shape of Your Life!

Author: Curvy Pillow Co.
Dateline: Thu, 01 Dec 2005

freeNewsArticles Story Summary: “CHICAGO, IL - Dec. 1 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Curvy Pillow Co. announces the availability of 2 'Transformational Pillow Covers,' a totally new concept in bedding whereby ordinary, conventional head pillows are changed into curvy, ergonomic and aesthetically pleasurable shapes.”

A R T I C L E:

Introducing a Totally New Look and Feel in Bedding Comfort...2 Unique Patent-Pending Pillow Covers Transform Conventional Rectangular Headpillows into Curvy, Highly Functional Shapes for the Body and Mind.

CHICAGO, IL (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Curvy Pillow Co. (www.CurvyPillows.com) announces the availability of 2 "Transformational Pillow Covers," a totally new concept in bedding whereby ordinary, conventional head pillows are changed into curvy, ergonomic and aesthetically pleasurable shapes.

(c) Send2PressThe Curvy Headpillow Cover ($25) transforms the boring rectangular headpillow into an elegant oval shape that looks and feels much nicer than the typical, pointy-cornered headpillow, that, up until now, is all we have ever known.

*(Photo Caption: Curvy Headpillow Cover with 1 conventional headpillow inside and Curvy Bodypillow Cover with 3 conventional headpillows inside.)

The Curvy Bodypillow Cover ($35) uses three conventional headpillows (not included) and will fit most standard rectangular bodypillows. It was the first bodypillow design ever -- invented in 1988 and originally called the "Sleeping Bean" by the bodypillow originator and Curvy Pillow Cover creator, Pam Blumenthal.

"At first people would tell me that bodypillows were a cute way to replace a boyfriend or girlfriend. My response was that it was more physical than emotional...so I took it to a physical therapist at Columbus Hospital in Chicago who showed me some therapeutic uses for the bodypillow (you can see some of them on the website www.CurvyPillows.com). Since then we have supplied hospitals and physical therapy centers all over the country with bodypillows. We even made a special Staph Check (anti-microbial version) specifically for use in hospitals (see website www.BeanProducts.com)."

These new "transformational" Curvy Pillow Covers are a simple, inexpensive way to turn the boring into the beautiful while providing total body comfort. For about 60 dollars and 4 conventional headpillows that you probably already have lying around -- you can have a totally new look and therapeutic bedding experience.

Curvy Pillow Covers are made of pure cotton with a zipper closure. Various colors are available. To order visit www.BeanProducts.com or call 800-726-8365.

CEOs Increasingly Use Spiritual Fitness to Achieve Business and Life Goals

Author: Pinnacle Forum America

freeNewsArticles Story Summary: “CHICAGO, IL - Nov. 30 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Corporate CEOs frequently depend on insights from a source outside themselves when making critical decisions. This is just one of several observations made by researcher Merrill Oster about his fellow CEOs, according to Pinnacle Forum America.”

A R T I C L E:

CHICAGO, IL (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Corporate CEOs frequently depend on insights from a source outside themselves when making critical decisions. Seventy-two percent of 175 CEOs responding to a research study say they receive special insights into decision making that comes from the Holy Spirit. This is just one of several observations made by researcher Merrill Oster about his fellow CEOs, according to Pinnacle Forum America.

(c) Send2PressOster, in conducting research for a doctoral dissertation, found that community leaders who spend an hour per week with their peers in Bible study and prayer are more likely to find greater satisfaction in achievement of life goals and in the development of leadership and character qualities. These findings on leaders and CEOs were reported in Scottsdale, Arizona at the annual partner meeting of Pinnacle Forum America, a ministry focused on changing America's culture by helping leaders find and pursue their God-given purpose and passion to serve others.

Oster's research, conducted as a doctoral candidate at the University of Phoenix, also indicated a positive correlation between spiritual exercise and the desired character qualities of honesty, humility, and the inclination to serve others rather than self. "In short, CEOs who spend more time in spiritual exercises with their peers are more successful in many areas of their business and personal lives," Oster told the group.

There is increasing data to support the idea that spiritual activities such as fellowship, Bible study, meditation, solitude and expressing forgiveness are associated with better health, greater life satisfaction, and an increased inclination to "give back" to society. Achievement of business, personal, and family goals are typical results according to Oster's paper. The Oster research also found that CEOs of privately held companies more frequently practice spiritual fitness exercises and achieve greater levels of honesty, humility, and service orientation than CEOs of publicly held companies.

Given the positive correlation between spiritual exercises and character quality, Oster's research suggests that Pinnacle Forum's formula of weekly peer-group studies or forums plays a key role in transforming leader character quality and changing the corporate cultures that have spawned scandals and corruption in many executive suites in the past decade.

Pinnacle Forum America sponsors local forums for CEOs and community leaders and provides a mechanism for men who share similar ideas to connect with others from across the nation on how to invest themselves in personal spiritual growth and cultural change.

A R T I C L E:

PITTSBURGH, PA (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- After presumed discarded for several decades, Rudolph and Santa, the original puppet characters from the classic 1964 television special, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," have been discovered and will be revealed to the public this weekend in Pittsburgh, announced Time and Space Toys (www.TimeandSpaceToys.com) today. The stop motion puppets, stars of the longest running holiday special in television history, brought instant fame to production team Arthur Rankin Jr. and Jules Bass and became icons of American pop culture.

(c) Send2PressStored casually among the household holiday decor of a former Rankin / Bass employee, the Rudolph and Santa puppets came out every December to take their place under the family Christmas tree. With last year's 40th anniversary celebration of the television special, and the recent multi-million dollar merchandising of everyone's favorite holiday characters, the owner realized there might be some public interest in revealing these lost treasures.

TimeandSpaceToys.com, online retailer of Rudolph dolls, figurines, and Christmas decor as well as a plethora of other pop culture icons, has purchased the pair for an undisclosed amount.

The puppets will make their first public appearance at the Pittsburgh Toy, Comic and Collectibles Show (www.pittsburghtoyshow.com) this weekend at the Pittsburgh Expo Mart in Monroeville, PA. The TimeandSpaceToys.com staff will be available at the event to discuss the discovery of the puppets and their significance in pop culture history.

TimeandSpaceToys.com has plans to restore the puppets to their original condition by bringing aboard the original Rankin / Bass puppet production team for assistance and accuracy. The detailed story of how these puppets survived the last four decades, along with a continuing progress report with photos of the restoration project, will be available on the TimeandSpaceToys.com website.

"We are excited to be involved in such a special project and present these cherished pieces to Rudolph fans everywhere," says Time and Space Toys president Kevin Kriess. "These characters have completely redefined the traditional Santa Claus mythology and have had a profound impact on American culture."

Time and Space Toys, in business since 1997, is an online retailer of high-quality, licensed toys and collectibles based on entertainment properties. Time & Space Toys has established itself as one of the major retailers of licensed holiday characters.

October Housing Construction Trends Report Released by Forefront Economics Inc.

Author: Forefront Economics Inc.
Dateline: Tue, 29 Nov 2005

freeNewsArticles Story Summary: “BEAVERTON, OR - Nov. 29 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Forefront Economics Inc., publisher of the Housing Construction Trends Report, released their analysis of trends in residential units permitted for construction through October today. 'Pockets of weakness observed last month in the underlying trend in housing units permitted for construction have spread to now include several areas,' said Mark Thompson, President of Forefront Economics Inc.”

A R T I C L E:

BEAVERTON, OR (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Forefront Economics Inc., publisher of the Housing Construction Trends Report, released their analysis of trends in residential units permitted for construction through October today. "Pockets of weakness observed last month in the underlying trend in housing units permitted for construction have spread to now include several areas," said Mark Thompson, President of Forefront Economics Inc.

"Our analysis shows that permits for single family construction are trending higher in the South, but are flat in the Northeast and West and falling in the Midwest. Just last month, three of the four Census Regions were trending higher in single family construction permits. This month's data provide another indication that single family residential construction has reached a seasonally adjusted peak and may now be trending lower. If so, single family permits will join multifamily construction in what is a predominately negative trend. All Regions now show a clearly falling trend in multifamily units permitted for construction."

Forefront Economics uses statistical algorithms to assess the strength and direction of trends in units permitted for construction down to the county level. This analysis is reported in their monthly Housing Construction Trends Report along with comparisons to the previous year and seasonally adjusted levels. Readers can use this information to spot the peaks and troughs in construction trends easier and earlier than simply looking at actual or seasonally adjusted values. Trends reported and discussed are adjusted for normal seasonality and irregular shocks allowing a clearer picture of the underlying trend.

Forefront Economics Inc. also released state trends for single family and multifamily units permitted for construction. State reports are available at http://housingtrends.forecon.com.

PARIS, France (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Avocat Farouk Yala, correspondent for Lyamec & Associates in Paris, presented on the firm's behalf on Libya's investment Law No. 5/1997. Avocat Farouk Yala addressed foreign firms on properly succeeding in seeking opportunities in Libya while addressing those criticizing Libya's reform and investment laws. During his presentation to over 120 attendants, he clearly outlined the failure of the foreign investment firms whom sought and failed in engaging the opportunities offered in Libya, "because of their lack of understanding of local legislation, rules and regulations revolving the criteria for foreign investment projects."

Clarity was formed among the attendants regarding international agreements signed onto by Libya regarding money laundering and anti-terrorism investment programs are issues that must be addressed and adhered to by foreign investors.

Additionally, corruption was also an important issue focused, addressed and presented by Lyamec & Associates. In the lecture presented to the 120 attendants, Yala stated on behalf of Lyamec "The conundrum of such implications regarding corruption issues in Libya are in fact scenarios initiated, instigated, and supported by foreign investment firms whom simultaneously are raising this concern in the international arena."

Details of Law No. 5/1997 and the proper interpretations of the law are clearly not being understood by the foreign investors due to the lack of proper commercial advisory services sought by the failed applicants. "Foreign firms who fail to reap the benefits of what Libya has to offer are clearly due to their lack of seeking proper legal and commercial advisory representation, and more importantly, there are no short cuts in the Libyan market." With the success of the several clients whom have in cases became partners through our multi-national approach focuses on issues regarding projects that truly meet and exceed the criteria's of basic Libyan national social and economic interests such as technology.

At the conclusion of the presentation, officials of UBI France singled out Lyamec & Associates correspondent Yala on his concise and most practical application ever covered by any invited panel covering Libya.

Ionic Silver Complex Designed for Use in Humans Receives U.S. Patent

Author: Invision International Health Solutions, Inc.
Dateline: Tue, 29 Nov 2005

freeNewsArticles Story Summary: “FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - Nov. 29 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Invision International Health Solutions, Inc., a pioneer in the field of ionic silver use in humans, recently announced the issuance of a U.S. Patent on its 'Ionic Silver Complex' technology.”

A R T I C L E:

May Render Colloidal Silver and other Nano Silver Technologies Obsolete

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Invision International Health Solutions, Inc., a pioneer in the field of ionic silver use in humans, recently announced the issuance of a U.S. Patent on its "Ionic Silver Complex" technology.

The technology is also patented in Australia and New Zealand, and patents are pending in Europe and Japan. The patents provide broad composition-of-matter protection, covering a wide range of complexing agents and counter-ions.

The use of ionic silver in human use goes back hundreds -- indeed thousands -- of years. During the past century, it was predominantly used in the medical field in the forms of silver nitrate and colloidal silver -- which has been increasingly used during the past few decades. In Europe, pharmacists have silver compounds listed in their desk references for many uses. In the U.S., recent university studies are suggesting far-reaching potential benefits of ionic silver. The past few years have seen a surge in the number of medical and industrial products that deliver silver ions, for a wide range of uses.

Whether colloidal silver, silver-impregnated bandages and wound dressings, coatings for surfaces in hospitals and homes, or catheters and IV needles, the goal is the controlled delivery of silver as ions. Delivery is a function of the bonding agent - the complexing or compounding agent - which controls the release of the silver as ions in the given environment at the desired rate.

Invision has already incorporated the patented technology into a water-based dietary supplement called Silver 100. The key ingredient in Silver 100 is called Opti-Silver - silver ions complexed with citrate and potassium for optimal delivery of silver ions in the human body.

According to Jay Newman, president of Invision International, the patented technology represents a quantum leap in delivering silver ions internally to the human body. "We chose citrate because we believe it is, by far, the ideal carrier for efficient delivery of silver ions for human use," Newman said, "based on years of effort and research that required millions of dollars invested." Potassium is used as the counter-ion for equilibrium in the water. "Silver 100 uses all-natural ingredients and is intended to provide an entirely safe product that introduces less silver to the body than what may exist in a person's average drinking water intake - but as active ions."

"We believe the compounds in colloidal silver have bonds that are too strong and thus release only a small percentage of their silver as ions in the body," Newman said, "while products called 'ionic' or 'nano' are usually just colloidal silver -- or are common substances like silver nitrate thrown in water and, as such, the bonds are far too weak to carry the silver ions into the body. Colloidal silver is manufactured through a crude, antiquated process called electrolysis. Many companies promote colloidal silver -- and 'ionic' and 'nano' silver -- using flamboyant marketing claims about particle size, parts per million, and safety that have little if any basis in scientific fact. We are bringing legitimacy and integrity to the field."

"'Nano silver' is the sexy new term for ionic silver," Newman said, "yet the imperative for an efficient delivery mechanism for human use is still the bottom line. Opti-Silver is nano silver with real science behind it to achieve that imperative. Having begun our intensive R&D efforts about ten years ago, we believe we are positioned at the leading edge of a large market that is just beginning to develop."

Silver 100 is sold primarily in health food stores at present, mainly in the eastern U.S., including some regions of Whole Foods. It is carried by United Natural Foods, the country's largest health foods distributor. Invision is rolling out national marketing and expects the product to be in the majority of health food stores, as well as supermarkets and pharmacies, by 2007.

About the Company

Invision International Health Solutions, Inc., a privately held company based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specializes in the research and development of ionic silver delivery solutions for human use. Because the patent covers a broad range of potential formulations, the company intends to pursue rigorous clinical studies, and FDA dietary supplement "health claims" approval as well as drug approval, for certain embodiments of the current patented technology and future technologies.

Jay Newman, the company's founder and President, has been interviewed as the industry expert on Good Morning America, NBC TV News, the Mining Industry Review, Wired News, and dozens of radio shows. He is a co-founding member of the Committee for the Responsible Use of Silver in Health, which is hosted at http://www.silverfacts.com. He is a co-inventor on the patent.
