WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Oct. 13 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- For the most part, pilots have been relegated to employee status working for the airlines, air charter and fractional ownership companies. Earthjet views the pilot as a fundamental key to the success of any air service business, and is offering the pilot the opportunity to own the business as well as fly the plane.

Send2PressEarthjet has developed a franchise business whereby pilots can own and operate a purpose-built air taxi jet and provide passenger service as part of a network instead of trying to go at the business alone. The network provides the scale and efficiency which is essential for a reliable and profitable air taxi business.

Features and benefits of the Earthjet system include: access to a purpose-designed air taxi jet manufactured by established OEMs; uniform safety systems and culture; extensive training, including business training; centralized reservation systems; computerized back-office systems; approved suppliers at preferential pricing for almost all aspects of the business; complete financing packages for those who qualify; and on-going support.

David Bjellos, former major airline captain, now manager of a prestigious South Florida Corporate Flight Department and frequent contributor to Professional Pilot magazine states: "Earthjet has covered all the bases so that pilots can finally own a jet which is a revenue machine - it is designed for the rigors of high-cycle passenger service. They have come up with a dynamic approach to creating a service network, with the systems and processes required to maintain a safe, uniform, and highly reliable passenger service. For pilots who have dreamed of owning a jet and working for themselves, Earthjet provides a terrific opportunity."

Earthjet has involved professional pilots throughout the planning stages of the business. The reception and enthusiasm for the novel business model, aircraft design, proposed systems and processes, reservation logic, and commitment to safety and ongoing franchise support has been extremely positive. The reaction to the purpose-designed air taxi jet has been fantastic - the pilots recognize this as a critical element for the success of the business. Beginning service with the wrong equipment versus guiding the development of the right aircraft has been a strong point of contention. In the end, practically everyone agrees that this business can only work with the right aircraft.

Earthjet will be formally offering franchise opportunities to qualified pilots early next year.

About Earthjet
Earthjet Incorporated was established to bring airline affordability to business jet travel, and open up private jet travel to millions more passengers. According to the company: Our motto is "Business jet service, at Airline prices." By developing a network of highly qualified professional pilot-owners, our franchise offers safe, high quality and reliable service through a vast network. We believe Earthjet is the next evolutionary step in air travel, combining the comfort, convenience and speed of business jets with seat prices normally associated with the airlines.

A R T I C L E:

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Sept. 13 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Jet Repair Anywhere has announced plans to launch its new Internet based company during the upcoming 59th NBAA Convention in Orlando, FL., October 17-19, 2006.

"Jet Repair Anywhere has revolutionized the way in which aircraft maintenance services are accessed," said Cheryl Janke, Jet Repair Anywhere's CEO, adding, "Aircraft operators and owners looking to have their aircraft serviced can now be connected to maintenance facilities worldwide. Jet Repair Anywhere's new service offers relief to Part 145 Repair Stations from the abysmal mound of paperwork required by most Part 135 and Part 91 operators. At any time subscribers have online access to vendor information which has been verified and archived on Jet Repair Anywhere's web server."

"A comprehensive database of maintenance facilities has already been established, and as an introduction to this service, Jet Repair Anywhere will be offering aircraft owners and operator's complimentary access to this data, until the end of this year," said Robert Salvo, President and Director of Marketing.

"Providing Internet access to critical data, enables aircraft owner/operators to expedite the search for qualified maintenance facilities, thus minimizing delays for owners and passengers when maintenance issues occur on the road," explained Salvo. "It is of paramount importance for repair stations to have their facility listed on our consortium, providing worldwide exposure to new clients. The benefit to aircraft owners/operators will be self evident the first time they break down in a remote location at 0200 hours, without a clue of who to call."

The flight is scheduled to touch down in Quito on March 31, exactly 75 years later to the day that the first such flight was made in a 1931 Ryan Brougham piloted by Theodore Gildred, Sr. - who stayed in Ecuador following his epic journey to establish that country's first air mail service.”

Historic Flight from San Diego, California to Quito, Ecuador celebrates 75th Anniversary of first trip

SAN DIEGO, CA (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- At 8:30 a.m. today, two Pilatus PC-12s will depart Lindbergh Field on a goodwill mission to Quito, Ecuador. The flight is scheduled to touch down in Quito on March 31, exactly 75 years later to the day that the first such flight was made in a 1931 Ryan Brougham piloted by Theodore Gildred, Sr. - who stayed in Ecuador following his epic journey to establish that country's first air mail service.

Photo Caption: HEADED FOR HISTORY: [L to R] Pilots Brian Shaul, Ted Gildred III, Ambassador Theodore Gildred, Stephen Gildred, and Eric Corpataux stand before one of the team's two Pilatus PC-12s on the eve of departure for their 75th anniversary flight to Quito, Ecuador.

Today his son, Ambassador Theodore Gildred and his grandsons Ted III and Stephen, will honor the memory of that achievement with a similar flight, dubbed "Ecuador III - The Spirit of Goodwill." Their mission will cover some 4,200 miles and will include stops in Mexico City; Guatemala City, Managua, Nicaragua; San Jose, Costa Rica; Panama City and Quito. At each stop, the aviators will meet with local officials, civic leaders and the media to promote goodwill and better relations between the United States and Latin America. In addition to Pilatus and their distributor Aviation Sales, Inc., the flight is sponsored by The San Diego Aerospace Museum and the Institute of the Americas.

"We've certainly come a long way since my father's flight" said Ambassador Gildred. "But while aviation has advanced considerably, there is still a tremendous need to do all we can to maintain and improve relations between the United States and Latin America. Building upon the legacy of the first Ecuador mission, and the spirit of goodwill it carried is the purpose our flight today and will continue to be a guiding principal for our family." Theodore Gildred is the former United States Ambassador to Argentina and today serves as Chairman of San Diego-based Lomas Santa Fe Corporation. He also leads the Gildred Foundation, a grant from which helped establish the Institute of the Americas.

Accompanying Ambassador Gildred and his sons will be Erik Lindbergh, grandson of Charles Lindbergh, whose epic 1927 flight across the Atlantic served as the personal inspiration for Theodore Gildred Sr.'s original journey to Latin America. "It is simply wonderful to have Erik join us on this trip," said Ambassador Gildred. "My father greatly admired Charles Lindbergh's achievements and to have his grandson with us today is an honor to both men."

The 1931 flight to South America took 18 days and was greeted by some 15,000 Quito residents, who anxiously awaited Gildred Sr.'s arrival at the city's new airport. His Ryan Brougham was later acquired by the Ecuadorian government, and put to use as that country's first mail plane. An exact replica of the original Ryan Brougham is housed, along with flight memorabilia, in the San Diego Aerospace Museum.

Today's flight will take just seven days, thanks in large measure to the Pilatus PC-12 business aircraft being used for the mission. The Swiss built PC-12 is a fully pressurized nine passenger aircraft that cruises at 30,000 feet and 310 mph. Ambassador Gildred will be flying his own PC-12, aptly named the Ecuador III, on this mission with an identical chase aircraft being provided by Pilatus Business Aircraft, headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado. Following completion of the mission, Ambassador Gildred will continue to Argentina with his aircraft to visit old friends and to be hosted at a special event at the U.S. Embassy there.

Tom Aniello, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Pilatus helped arrange the company's support for the Ecuador III flight, along with Aviation Sales, Inc., the Pilatus distributor for the western United States. "We greatly admire Ambassador Gildred's spirit and his dedication to better relations with Latin America," said Mr. Aniello. "To have a PC-12 take part in such a historic achievement is a tribute to the airplane, the crew, and all of the people who build, sell and support our aircraft, worldwide."

Flight Can Be Followed - and Contacted - via the Internet

A unique aspect of the Ecuador III flight will be the ability of interested observers to follow and even contact the flight, using the Internet. In addition to the mission's own website (www.ecuadorgoodwillflight.com), NBC Channel 39 in San Diego will carry the mission on their site (nbcsandiego.com/flightofecuador/) that will also allow visitors to send emails to the crew, which will be answered daily. Children from the San Diego school district will also be given special access to in-flight information and the mission's progress.

The Ambassador's First Commemorative Flight

Ecuador III will actually be Ambassador Gildred's second such trip. In 1981, to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of his father's historic flight, he replicated the goodwill journey in a Stinson Reliant loaned by the San Diego Aerospace Museum, landing in Quito at the same time and day as his father's original flight fifty year earlier. Gildred's 1981 itinerary included stops in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Ecuador.

Following the successful completion of the 1981 commemorative flight, the San Diego Aerospace Museum donated the aircraft to the people of Ecuador to help them establish their own aviation museum. On behalf of the Gildred Foundation, which was created by his father, Gildred also presented a gift of $30,000 as seed money for the museum, in which the Stinson Reliant would become one of the major exhibits.

Ecuador IV - Already Scheduled for March, 2031

Prior to today's departure, Ted III and Stephen have made their father a promise: Twenty-five years from now -- in March 2031 - on the 100th anniversary of the original flight, they will make the flight again to honor their grandfather and father and continue the spirit of goodwill that has become a cornerstone of their family tradition.

Top Selling Corporate Aircraft Manufacturer Sights in on Fuel Efficency

Author: Pilatus Business Aircraft
Dateline: Wed, 09 Nov 2005

freeNewsArticles Story Summary: “ORLANDO, FL - Nov. 9 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- This week at the 58th annual National Business Aviation Association's (NBAA) annual convention, Pilatus Business Aircraft will be touting fuel efficiency as a key selling feature of its legendary 9-passenger, 300 mph turboprop. At a show where speed, range and interior accoutrements are the typical marketing hot buttons for buyers, this marks a unique and timely approach for the Swiss manufacturer. The Pilatus PC-12 is the number one selling turbine-powered business airplane in the world.”

Swiss-built Pilatus PC-12 offers significant savings over other bizjet alternatives

ORLANDO, FL (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- This week at the 58th annual National Business Aviation Association's (NBAA) annual convention, Pilatus Business Aircraft will be touting fuel efficiency as a key selling feature of its legendary 9-passenger, 300 mph turboprop. At a show where speed, range and interior accoutrements are the typical marketing hot buttons for buyers, this marks a unique and timely approach for the Swiss manufacturer. The Pilatus PC-12 is the number one selling turbine-powered business airplane in the world.

"With jet fuel prices now at an all time high, the PC-12 provides corporate flight departments with a fuel efficient alternative," said Tom Aniello, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Pilatus Business Aircraft. "We think it's important to provide customers with an understanding of how much fuel our aircraft could save them over a typical year of operations." In fact, annual fuel savings can easily top $100,000 relative to traditional light and mid-size business jets.

*(Photo Caption: The Swiss-built Pilatus PC-12 is the top-selling turbine-powered business aircraft in the world. With a range of over 1400 nm, it can carry nine passengers in pressurized comfort at 30,000 feet and at speeds of up to 300 mph.)

To add incentive to its message, Pilatus is giving away $5000 in free fuel via a drawing. "We've developed a simple tool that compares the PC-12 to eight other turbine-powered business aircraft on a typical mission and, just by stopping by our booth, using the tool and seeing the savings, showgoers can enter the drawing" added Aniello.

Aircraft Enhancements for 2006

In addition to fuel efficiency, there's no better time to consider a Pilatus PC-12 than now, as Pilatus announced today that its aircraft will receive several significant improvements for 2006. Beginning with the first delivery in January, the 2006 PC-12 will offer better performance, improved handling, increased comfort, and even more reliability than its predecessor.

The 2006 PC-12 will offer greater range-payload through a gross weight increase. Better handling comes from improved control harmony and new winglets. The new winglets, derived from technology developed for the high performance Pilatus PC-21 military trainer, reduce drag and improve crosswind control. Improved reliability comes from new LED lighting systems. The LED cabin lights last 20,000 hours, and are color balanced to create a warm, inviting glow.

Pilots will also enjoy increased comfort in the PC-12's new crew seats. The new seats give pilots more freedom to custom-tailor their seating positions for superior comfort on long flights.

"We think it's a great package and very suitable improvement for the coming year," said Mr. Aniello. Last year, Pilatus delivered more than 80 PC-12s worldwide.

Award-Winning Customer Service, Too

Pilatus also comes to the 2005 NBAA Convention with news that, for the fourth consecutive year, they have earned the top spot in "Professional Pilot" magazine's 2005 Corporate Aircraft Product Support Survey. While the magazine awarded Pilatus first place in the corporate turboprop category, Pilatus' overall score exceeded that of all other turbine-powered business aircraft manufacturers.

The annual survey asks customers to rate their manufacturer on all aspects of customer service, including spare parts pricing and availability, technical publications, AOG speed, field service representatives, and responsiveness.

There are currently over 580 PC-12 business turboprops operating in 17 countries around the world. PC-12 aircraft are serviced through a network of 19 authorized Pilatus Centers in North and South America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
